Road Rally on theme- “Say No To Drugs” 26 January is a glorious day celebrated as Republic day to honor the day since when constitution of India was came into force. All Indians celebrates this day with extreme enthusiasm, patriotism and joy. On this day Tricolor flows in our veins along with blood and stirs us high with pride and happiness. 26 January, 2016 had been a special day for our city Surat. “Youth Nation”-Surat had organized a road rally with the theme “Say No To Drugs” to celebrate Republic Day with real spirit. The rally was organized at 9.30 am which was started from MTB college and headed towards Kargil Chowk, Piplod. To spread awareness among youth and society “Youth Nation” had invited teams from all colleges and schools. Dignitaries such as - SMC Mayor / Commissioner / Standing committee chairman, Collector of Surat, Police commissioner / Add. Police commissioner, Social body, Vice Chancellor, DEO, Top Businessmen, MP and MLA had graced this occasion with their esteemed presence as well as visionary words. Its note worthy that no political or commercial body was associated with this event and yet it succeeded in spreading positive message of -”Say No To Drugs”. More than 100 team members of Youth Nation along with hundreds of college/school students had taken charge of the city with zeal and aura of Drugs free World. Sarvajanik Education Society has been pioneer in development of society since years. Being integral and powerful part of SES, Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology has always been instilling positiveness, energy, dreams and development to society. SCET has been participating and encouraging not only technical development as well as cultural and social development of students as well as society. Being responsible and sensitive towards society, NSS Unit of Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology has been invited by Youth Nation to participate for the road rally on 26 January, 2016. 20 NSS volunteers of SCET had participated in the road rally with impact and have been facilitated with trophy by the organizers for supporting Noble cause. 26 January is a glorious day celebrated as Republic day to honor the day since when
