Current fokus areas:

1. Future Energy System Handlar om utmaningar relaterade till energisystemets omställning för att möta olika

hållbarhetsmål. Området innefattar förnybar produktion, energilagring, integration av olika energisystem, samt nya affärs- och marknadsmodeller för den framtida energimarknaden.

2. Industrial Transformation Utmaningen är att gå mot en resurs- och energieffektiv samt koldioxidneutral process- och

tillverkningsindustri. Fokus ligger på att ersätta fossila råvaror och energibärare samt att utveckla och införa metoder för radikalt ändrade processförhållanden, förbättrad kommunikation, automatisering och digitalisering,

3. Fossil Free Transport Tyngdpunkten är på hållbara biodrivmedel och gröna kemikalier från skogen, åkern och

avfall för tillämpningar inom vägtransport, luftfart och sjöfart.

4. Value Chains to Value Circles Inledningsvis prioriteras framtagandet av analysverktyg som ska förenkla för våra

kunder att påbörjar omställningsarbete mot att producera och verka i värdecykler. Genom dessa verktyg kommer RISE bidra med att öka Sveriges cirkularitet för att leva i ett hållbart samhälle.
