Responding well to questions

• Show conviction and clarity of thought• Answers need to be specific, concise and show your spark

• Where and how have you done well professionally? Why?• Where do you need to develop ie your unrealised strengths and

your weaknesses ? (see our last talk 23rd October)

• Be alive to the risk of fundamental attribution error as you give account of yourself

• Have patience – not everyone is a trained interviewer or indeed enjoys interviewing

• Capital Integrated is an investment company with  2 500 employees world wide. It is publicly listed and its share price has dropped  70% in last 4 years.

• It has an investment arm as well as a private bank in London, New York and Hong Kong.

• Pre crisis it was ranked in top 10 globally however as a result of the economic crisis this is now ranked  33. Between 2008 – 2011 it has had a new CEO every 2 years and is under constant scrutiny from regulators.

• This organisation is seen as offering competitive compensation packages and is working hard to improve its employer brand and credentials .
