• The Jewish Federations of North America is made up of over 150 federations, all of which ensure support, social services, and lifesaving humanitarian relief are given to Jewish communities across the world in over 70 different countries.

• The Jewish Federations of North America rely on committed volunteers and strong partnerships to help reach and go beyond their charity goals.

• The Israel Connection is one sect of the Jewish Federations of North America that has been around for over six decades.

• Those working for the Israel Connection have pledged to help strengthen the State of Israel through unwavering, continued commitment.

• This federation is “dedicated to ensuring that all of Israel’s citizens have equal access to educational and economic opportunity,” (JewishFederations.org, Israel Connection).

• Members of the Israel connection work to deepen connections between the Jewish State and the global Jewish community so that their bond is strengthened.

• The Israel Connection recognizes that one in every five Israeli families live in poverty and know this needs to change.

• So, members of the Federation provide resources and safety for Israeli families in distress.

• By mobilizing networks at home and overseas, the Federation is able to quickly help these families out, especially when Israel is threatened.

• Throughout the years the Federation has helped millions of immigrants make the move to Israel to start new lives. Last year 26,000 immigrants were able to do so - and that’s just in one year.

• The Federation has positively impacted the lives of many - from the elderly who need care, to struggling families who need homes - the Israel Connection continues to save and change Jewish lives and will do so in the years to come.
