They have 4 legs. They do not have fur. Their skin is actually grey. It has a short hairless tail. They have 2 horns. Horns are made up of tightly intertwined strands of keratin (the stuff that makes up human hair) and gelatin (a jelly-like sub- stance). Horns are used for digging, breaking up food and fighting. Its skin is the least folded of any rhino species. They make loud grunting noises. They have excellent hearing. LIVING LOCATIONS Wish to know where these fascinating creatures live?
