Presented by David Pearce Snyder Most futurists today believe that the middle class job loss and widening income gap arising from our current techno-economic restructuring will ultimately be followed by a “rising tide” of prosperity based on new products, services and jobs. For those without a hopeful long term vision, however, our degraded economic performance has provoked political mobilization promoting simplistic solutions for our many complex problems. Futurists can/should actively inject an understanding of our complex circumstances into the public dialogue.
