SAFETY INSTRUCTIONSFor the REV T5 LED TUBE LIGHT™

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION Disconnect battery before installing or replacing the REV T5 LED TUBE LIGHT™. The REV T5 LED TUBE LIGHT™ is designed to be used only with 12 DC Power [Automotive

type], any modifications of the unit may result in a hazard and will VOID the warranty. The REV T5 LED TUBE LIGHT™ lighting fixture must be installed in accordance with any state

and national codes. Please do not attempt to open the REV T5 LED TUBE LIGHT™ housing as there are no

serviceable parts inside and doing so WILL VOID the warranty. Please read all of the installation instructions before installing the REV T5 LED TUBE LIGHT™.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONSFor the REV T5 LED TUBE LIGHT™

1. To the right, Figure 1, is a typical 12 volt

fluorescent fixture.

With the 12 volt power disconnected, remove

the lens.

2. With the lens removed as in Figure 2 to the

right, locate the Fluorescent fixtures Ballast

Cover and remove.

3. With the lens & ballast cover removed, locatethe Fluorescent fixtures Ballast, see Figure 3.

4. After locating the fixtures ballast find thePositive (+) and the Negative (-) wires, seeFigure 4.

HintThe Positive (+) and the Negative (-) wires will, inmost cases, come into the fixture through thefixtures access hole. One wire will be attached tothe Ballast Board and the other in most cases willbe attached to the fixtures Off/On Switch.

5. After locating the Fluorescent fixtures Positive(+) and the Negative (-) input wires Figure 6,remove the fixtures Positive Switch Wire, ifattached with a Quick Disconnect Terminal.Replace with the Quick Disconnect Terminalthat has been added to one of the ends of theREV T5 LED TUBE LIGHT™ harness asshown in Figure 6. If your fixture is notequipped with a switch or has one that the wireis not attached with a Quick DisconnectTerminal than cut off the factory installedterminal on the REV T5 LED TUBE LIGHT™harness, cut the Switched Power wire and stripthe wires and use the Wire Nut provided to makethe connection as shown in Figure 7.

To install 2 tubes in a double fixture theinstallation is the similar, the only difference isthat you need to attach one end of each harnessto the ground wire using the supplied wire nut.Cut the wire that has the spade connection,leaving 2 inches of wire attached to theconnector. Replace one of the Quick DisconnectTerminals to the switch and connect the twoharness ends and the spade connector wire endtogether with the wire nut provided.

6. After locating the Ground wire (-), attach thewire to the Wiring Harness as shown in Figure8 using the wire nut provided. The REV T5LED TUBE LIGHT™ contains polarity correctingcircuitry, so do not be concerned which of the (+)or (-) connections the Harness wiring is connectedto.

7. After connecting the wiring harness connectionsin Step 6 above, replace the Ballast Covertaking care to be sure there are no sharp edges tocut the Wiring Harness. Leave the end of theharness protruding as shown in Figure 9.

8. With the harness that was left protruding in Step7, plug the REV T5 LED TUBE LIGHT™harness into the protruding plug as shown in Figure10.

9. REV T5 LED TUBE LIGHT™ to the rightshown in Figure 11, fully installed and lockedinto the fixture with the harness tucked in behindthe ballast cover. Replace the fixture lens and theinstallation is complete.

LIMITED WARRANTYThis product is warranted free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year. If a defect inmaterial or workmanship occurs, call 1-800-883-5444 for instructions on how to have the defective product repaired, orreplaced, free of charge.

LIMITATIONS This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser of the product. This warranty only covers the assembled motion lighting fixture. Unauthorized service to, or modification of this product will void the warranty in its entirety. A purchase receipt or other approved proof of purchase is required before warranty service is rendered. This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including any warranty,

representation or condition of merchantability or that the products are fit for any particular purpose or use, andspecifically in lieu of all special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to, anyloss arising out of any breach of this warranty, as allowed by your state of domicile.

This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

NOT COVERED Failure of the product as a result of an accident, abuse, negligence, alteration, or faulty installation, or any other

failure not relating to faulty material or workmanship. Reimbursement for inconvenience, installation, setup, time, loss of use, postage or unauthorized service
