M. Pharm.Pharmaceutics
The course encompasses a scientific area where latest research tools for pharmaceutical product development are extensively
covered. It is designed to familiarize the student with fundamental principles pertaining to the latest techniques employed in the
formulation design for active pharmaceutical agents. The student is introduced to application of theoretical fundamentals of
Pharm. Sciences to product development; during the first component of the study and is trained to apply the knowledge and
techniques, end to end, for product development during practice school (industry training) component of the study. Student will
complete the course with advanced knowledge and skills applicable for a variety of practice settings in Dosage Form Design,
Manufacturing Technology, Regulatory Aspects, Patents, Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
M. Pharm.Quality Assurance
The course curriculum has been designed to familiarize students with good manufacturing practices, ICH guidelines, Calibration,
Validation, Documentation and Quality Audits with a view to create total quality consciousness. The course offers a wide
exposure to research fields such as formulation development including NDDS and Analytical Method Development which
includes Validation, Impurity Profiling, Stability Indicating Assay Methods, preparation of documents like standard testing
procedures and standard operating procedures. The unique part of the course is DRAQS which gives regulatory background to
cater the needs of Industry. Knowledge earned thus in this specialized field will prepare the student of Quality Assurance to fit
into the pharmaceutical development aspects and their applications with respect to quality.
M. Pharm.Pharmacology
The course curriculum has been structured to impart a penetrating professional experience and a unique opportunity to acquire
further competence in Pharmacology discipline along with fair amount of knowledge in interdisciplinary areas of Pharmacy
profession. The hallmark of this specialization is to provide an in depth exposure to Advances in Pharmacology coupled with much
needed knowledge in Clinical Research Methods and Molecular Biology. Thus earned knowledge and expertise in this
specialization will make the student of Pharmacology to fit into the New Drug Discovery and Development on Global Pharma
Research based perspective.
