  2. 2. Brief Work Experience United Energy Pakistan (Ex: British Petroleum, Exploration & Production Inc.) Inventory Analyst July, 2013 to April, 2014 Inventory management of more than $ 100 Million inventory. Replenish stock by raising sector based Purchase requisitions (PR), Release Orders (RO) & online ordering for CAT spares and McMaster items by evaluating STO report from Maximo. General review of inventory, reviews based on Stock to Order (STO) replenishment, consumption trends, fast moving, slow moving, obsolete items and also take part in expired chemical / material activities . Analysis of Vendor performance, new Vendor development, price negotiation & quality improvement meetings with vendor, RO releasing, material delivery and help to make payments to vendors etc. Revise levels (Re Order Point/Re Order Quantity) against approved MMRFs (Material Maintenance Request Form) and inventory reviews carried out with end user departments. Review stock status of satellite warehouses and shift material from WH to manage inventory until ordered quantities are replenished. Monitoring and tracking in transit material on 3PL (Agility Logistics) website for on time delivery. Worked closely with shipping department to develop efficient shipping and receiving schedules. Conducting loss investigations into missing stock. Responding to all customer (End User) complaints or queries in efficient manner. Involved in Maximo implementation, usage and improvement and also lead warehouse team to make sure Maximo and system related issues are resolved in time. Review PRs containing material and look for availability and also for alternates / substitutes to avoid additional ordering and if PR contains non-stock material, create stock codes to bring visibility and tracking in system. Process MMRF and generate new stock codes, referring other company codes to standard codes and develop material specifications and descriptions and other MMRF related activities. Process BOMs sent by the Projects teams and arrange material from within inventory by analyzing stock levels, offer alternates / substitutes and raise PRs for the unavailable material. Materials Management KPIs, Inventory valuation, Slow moving, Wrong balances, Material In-transit, Nalco consignment status, Lease activity, PR Age analysis, BOM, Surplus Material, Planned Inspection and providing various inventory related reports to management, users and team members. Handling technical and other material related vendor / user queries and coordination between procurement and user departments during the procurement phase. coordinate with Finance for setting-up item values, issues in ageing reports, invoices, inventory valuation, slow moving, current market pricing activity and inventory forecasts. Follow-up on PR to PO conversion and sharing PR Age analysis report with Procurement and MM Team.

LPG Plant Shutdown Project Material Controller January, 2013 to March, 2013 Generate BOM (Bill of Material) against all equipments and generate PR (purchase requisitions) for materials that need to be procured. Material Management through MAXIMO Correspondence with warehouse about the availability of material. Correspondence with purchase department and suppliers for on time material delivery. Arrangement of space for material and properly tag and store material according to their need. Generate temporarily warehouse and shift all material near plant to fulfill quick issuance on demand. Complete reconciliation of materials and report submitted to Project manager. Dispose off material according to UEPL waste management as per HSSE standards. Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO) Warehouse & Logistics Officer January, 2005 to May, 2008 Inventory Management through MAXIMO. Logistics (Receiving, Issuing, Transferring Lubricants & Other Materials), generate Purchase Requisitions of stock items and storage according to their needs and database of all stock transactions and materials in MAXIMO. Responsible for arranging logistics (transportation and labor) for in-house movement of materials and outstation dispatches as per requirement, through 3PL Logistics or in-house (PARCOs own). Manage the operations of Transportation including the efficient and timely distribution and transportation of goods to outstation Warehouses. Ensured correct allocation of resources to meet delivery schedules & planning, controlling transportation and distribution costs. Responsible for receiving foreign & local shipments. Make sure the availability of safety stock at any cost for smooth production. Correspondence with Operations and Maintenance departments for planning of Economic Order Quantity (Maximum, Minimum & Re-Order Levels of stock items). Reviewing inventory materials to identify slow moving items. Identifying unwanted material, obsolete, scrap and disposals collaboration with their concerned departments. Storage of Chemicals according to MSDS. Make sure all stored wastes according to HSSE policies and must be clearly labeled with type of waste and warning signs. Handle all insurance claim matters of lubricants and other materials. Correspondence with Purchase department, Suppliers, Local Agents etc for on time material delivery.
  4. 4. Considering the quotations from vendor according to quality, cost & lead time. Report to suppliers about rejection of material by user departments. Supervise & handle different out station warehouses according to their needs. Making adjustments for any discrepancies appearing in physical and MAXIMO balances or any wrong transactions. Asset Integrity through ACET (Asset Condition Evaluation tool) (software being used at BP for Inspection Services for forecasting). Create new Piping and Equipment (ASSET) identifications into MAXIMO of different major Facilities of BP Pakistan. Analysis of reports through ACET (Asset Condition Evaluation tool) of Equipments & Piping (ASSET) after different inspections carried out at Facilities. Mapping & Thickness monitoring locations in PID (Piping & Instrument diagram) & Equipment mechanical diagram for RBI Inspection. Create new Preventive maintenance identifications of Plant Piping & Equipment (ASSETS) of different facilities of BP Pakistan into MAXIMO. Make schedule work orders and close schedule work orders of Piping and Equipment (ASSETS) inspection management on behalf of their reports coming from Field through MAXIMO. . Upload work order reports into DOCUMENTUM (software being used at BP for data access for all). Provide assistance to Manager Inspection in technical matters (e.g.; Equipment Mechanical diagram, Piping & Instrument diagram, Process flow diagram & Isometric diagram). Implementation of ISO 9000: 2008 system as per standards. Perform Internal Audit as per ISO 9000: 2008.
