Come now, all who seek, and be warmed by the love of our Father. Come all who are poor in spirit, for yours is the kingdom of heaven. ALL: We enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise; we give thanks to Him and praise His name. LEADER: Let us sing and worship the God who stands with the open arms. ALL: For the LORD is good and His love endures forever, His faithfulness continues through all generations. “Ye Wretched, Hungry, Starving Poor” Words: Anne Steele, 1760 /Music: Thomas Tallis, 1567/CCLI License #136148 Ye wretched, hungry, starving poor, behold a royal feast, Where mercy spreads her bounteous store for every humble guest. Room in the Savior’s bleeding heart, there love and pity meet; Nor will He bid the soul depart that trembles at His feet. CHORUS: See, Jesus stands with open arms, He calls, He bids you come. Guilt holds you back, and fear alarms; But see, there yet is room. O come, and with His children taste the blessing of His love. While hope attends the sweet repast of nobler joys above. And yet ten thousand thousand more are welcome still to come. Ye longing souls, the grace adore; approach, there yet is room. RESPONSE TO GOD’S WORD Saturday“Grace Alone”

Words & Music by Dustin Kensrue: Mars Hill Church 2013/CCLI License #136148

I was an orphan lost at the fall, running away when I’d hear You call. But Father You worked Your will; I had no righteousness of my own.I had no right to draw near Your throne, but Father You loved me still,

CHORUS: And in love before You laid the world’s foundation, You predestined to adopt me as Your own. You have raised me up so high above my station, I’m a child of God by grace and grace alone.

You left Your home to seek out the lost; You knew the great and terrible cost. But Jesus Your face was set. I worked my fingers down to the bone,But nothing I did could ever atone; but Jesus You paid my debt.

CHORUS: By Your blood I have redemption and salvation. Lord You died that I might reap what You have sown, And You rose that I might be a new creation. I am born again by grace and grace alone.

I was in darkness all of my life, I never knew the day from the night,But Spirit You made me see. I swore I knew the way on my own,Head full of rocks, a heart made of stone, but Spirit You moved in me.

CHORUS: And at Your touch my sleeping spirit was awakened, On my darkened heart the light of Christ has shone. Called into a Kingdom that cannot be shaken, Heaven’s citizen by grace and grace alone.

So I’ll stand in faith by grace and grace alone, I will run the race by grace and grace alone,I will slay my sin by grace and grace alone,I will reach the end by grace and grace alone.

ALL: But we have been proud in spirit, inflated with pride in our own self-sufficiency. We have forgotten how needy we are. In Your mercy, Lord, hear our prayer and forgive us in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.

SONG“Come Ye Sinners”

Words & Music: Eddie Hoagland, Jason Ingram, Jonathan Smith, Tyler Miller, 2014/CCLI License #136148

Come ye sinners, poor and needy, weak and wounded, sick and sore,Jesus ready stands to save you, with compassion, love and power.

Come ye thirsty to the fountain, come and find His goodness here,True belief and true repentance, every grace that brings You near.

CHORUS: I will rise and go to Jesus, He will embrace me as His own. In the arms of my Savior, there is life forevermore.

Come ye weary, heavy-laden, lost and ruined by the fall,If you wait until you're better, you will never come at all.Let not conscience make you linger, nor of fitness fondly dream; All the fitness He requireth is to feel your need of Him.

There’s no one else for me, no one else for me.No turning back, no turning back.

THE SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM “Jesus Loves Me”

Words: Anna Bartlett Warner/Music: Philip Percival and William Batchelder Bradbury/CCLI Licence #136148

Jesus loves me! This I know, for the Bible tells me so;Little ones to Him belong; they are weak, but He is strong.

CHORUS: Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me! Yes, Jesus loves me! The Bible tells me so.

SONG “Yet Not I, But Through Christ In Me”

Jonny Robinson, Rich Thompson, Michael Farren © 2018 CityAlight Music | CCLI License #136148

What gift of grace is Jesus my Redeemer,There is no more for heaven now to give. He is my joy, my righteousness and freedom, My steadfast love my deep and boundless peace. To this I hold, my hope is only Jesus; For my life is wholly bound to His. Oh, how strange and divine I can sing all is mine, Yet not I, but through Christ in me.

The night is dark but I am not forsaken For by my side the Savior He will stay. I labor on in weakness and rejoicing For in my need His power is displayed. To this I hold, my Shepherd will defend me Through the deepest valley He will lead. Oh, the night has been won and I shall overcome, Yet not I but through Christ in me.

No fate I dread, I know I am forgiven; The future sure, the price it has been paid. For Jesus bled and suffered for my pardon And He was raised to overthrow the grave. To this I hold, my sin has been defeated; Jesus now and ever is my plea. Oh, the chains are released, I can sing I am free, Yet not I, but through Christ in me.

With every breath, I long to follow Jesus, For He has said that He will bring me home. And day by day I know He will renew me Until I stand with joy before the throne. To this I hold, my hope is only Jesus; All the glory evermore to Him.When the race is complete still my lips shall repeat, Yet not I, but through Christ in me.

PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLELEADER: God blesses those who realize their need for Him, for the kingdom of

heaven is given to them.
