WELCOME TO REDEEMER!
Whether you're a follower of Christ looking for a healthy church home or skeptic invited by a friend, we are thankful that you've joined us! At Redeemer, we seek to live together on Christ, our joy & hope, to the end that others might treasure him.
This morning we will read, pray, sing, & preach God's Word to the end that God would receive glory & that the gospel would sink deeper into our hearts. As we gather, we intentionally shape the structure of our service to reflect gospel in celebrating that God draws near to us, shows us grace, teaches us in His Word, and sends us into the world to make disciples of all nations. Explanatory notes regarding different elements of our service can be found throughout this worship guide.

SONG OF PRAISE “GRACE ALONE”
I was an orphan lost at the fall, Running away when I'd hear Your callBut Father, You worked your willI had no righteousness of my own,I had no right to draw near Your throneBut Father, You loved me stillAnd in love before You laid the world's foundationYou predestined to adopt me as your ownYou have raised me so high u above my station I'm a child of God by grace and grace alone

Psalm 67:1-9
You left Your home to seek out the lostYou knew the great and terrible costBut Jesus, Your face was setI worked my fingers down to the boneNothing I did could ever atoneBut Jesus, You paid my debtBy Your blood I have redemption and salvationLord, You died that I might reap what You have sownAnd You rose that I might be a new creationI am born again by grace and grace alone
I was in darkness all of my lifeI never knew the day from the nightBut Spirit, You made me seeI swore I knew the way on my ownHead full of rocks, a heart made of stoneBut Spirit, You moved in meAt Your touch my sleeping spirit was awakenedOn my darkened heart the light of Christ has shoneCalled into a kingdom that cannot be shakenHeaven's citizen by grace and grace alone
So I'll stand in faith by grace and grace aloneI will run the race by grace and grace aloneI will slay my sin by grace and grace aloneI will reach the end by grace and grace alone
CONFESSION OF SIN
We have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a polluted garment. We all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.
SILENT PRAYER
3
The Confession of Sin and Assurance of Pardon remind us of how we can draw near and praise God, and also lead us to experience the gospel afresh as we face our sin and remember the forgiveness Jesus provides.
Isaiah 64:6
ASSURANCE OF PARDON
For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
SONGS OF ADORATION WHAT MERCY DID FOR ME
I was hopeless, I knew I was lostDeath and darkness were my only songsI needed someone to come to rescue me, and mercy heard my plea
Lord, You found me, You healed me, You called me from the grave You gave me Your real love, I thank you, Jesus; You washed my sins away! And now I'm living like I’m forgiven; You came to set me free And that's what Your mercy did for me
You gave beauty for my guilty stainsAnd now I'm living day to day by His graceSo excuse me if I can't contain my praise, because I know that I've been saved!
Every morning mercy will restore me, I will proclaim And even if the world may fall before me, I will proclaim
PSALM 23
The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not wantIn green pastures He makes me lie downHe restores my soul and leads me on For His Name, for His great Name
Surely goodness, surely mercy, right beside me all my days And I will dwell in Your house forever and bless Your Holy Name

2 Cor. 5:21
You prepare a table right before me In the presence of my enemiesThough the arrow flies and the terror of night Is at my door I'll trust you Lord
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, You are on my side
SONGS OF PREPARATION MAN OF SORROWS
“Man of Sorrows!” What a name for the Son of God who cameRuined sinners to reclaim. Hallelujah! What a Savior!
Bearing shame and scoffing rude; in my place condemned He stoodHe sealed my pardon with His blood. Hallelujah! What a Savior!
Guilty, vile, and helpless we; spotless Lamb of God was He“Full atonement!” can it be? Hallelujah! What a Savior!
Lifted up was He to die; “It is finished!” was His cryNow in Heaven exalted high. Hallelujah! What a Savior!
When He comes, our glorious King, All His ransomed home to bring,Then anew His song we’ll sing: Hallelujah! What a Savior!
THE READING OF THE WORD
12 For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. 13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.
14 For the body does not consist of one member but of many. 15 If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. 16 And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. 17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the sense of hearing? If the whole body were an ear, where would be the sense of smell? 18 But as

1 Cor. 11:12-26
Isaiah 53:3
it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose. 19 If all were a single member, where would the body be? 20 As it is, there are many parts, yet one body.
21 The eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you,” nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.” 22 On the contrary, the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, 23 and on those parts of the body that we think less honorable we bestow the greater honor, and our unpresentable parts are treated with greater modesty, 24 which our more presentable parts do not require. But God has so composed the body, giving greater honor to the part that lacked it, 25 that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another. 26 If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.
PRAYER
PREACHING OF THE WORD “A BODY BUILT IN LOVE”
11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. 15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.

REFLECTION & PRAYER
SONG OF RESPONSE THERE IS A FOUNTAIN
There is a fountain filled with blood drawn from Immanuel’s veinsAnd sinners, plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stainsLose all their guilty stains, lose all their guilty stainsAnd sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains
The dying thief rejoiced to see that fountain in his dayAnd there may I, though vile as he, wash all my sins awayWash all my sins away, wash all my sins awayAnd there may I, though vile as he, wash all my sins away
Dear dying Lamb, Thy precious blood shall never lose its powerTill all the ransomed ones of God be saved, to sin no moreBe saved, to sin no more, be saved, to sin no moreTill all the ransomed ones of God be saved to sin no more
E’er since by faith I saw the stream Thy flowing wounds supplyRedeeming love has been my theme and shall be till I dieAnd shall be till I die, and shall be till I dieRedeeming love has been my theme, and shall be till I die
