This software is an instructional game. Mingoville is a narrative universe that frames a variety of themes. It is a digital interactive textbook that combines thenarrative methods known from the entertainment industry and second language acquisition.

The objectives of this software are: To suit students’ wide ranges of learning styles and their multiple intelligences To improve student’s communication skills To integrate digital tools and curriculum in the learning environment. To enhance writing and reading skills To activate student’s memory To improve critical-thinking skills

The target learners are 3 rd grade English according to the Danish curriculum.

Students roles are: Depending on how teacher have chosen to use the application the students can

use it in two ways. If the teacher has not made any changes, the students can work their way through

the learning course mission by mission.

If he has planned a sequence of activities, the students have to open and check “My Book” to see

which activities they must complete and which ones are optional.

Teacher roles are: can be used in various ways. It can be used systematically by following the recommended order of activities presented in each mission or you can put your own sequence of activities together by mixing the activities as you prefer. Teacher will do:

Planning Evaluation Administration

This program can be used by teachers in the classroom or outside the classroom. By this program teacher can teach students writing and learning skills. Also enhance critical thinking skills through appropriate activities, like building drawing,... , and teach them the name of many things with the pictures.This software is a little bit difficult for the target learners especially the navigation, some of them may don't know the function of all button. they the help of the teacher to explain the buttons of the game so they can't work individually from the first time.

Weakness:

1. Student can't move to next question until doing the previous question2. There is no opportunity for increasing the complexity of the activities….
