LICENSED)

3.1 IP Address Collision Alarm

IP Duplication can cause several issues, one typical issue is one way speech.

The SV8100 can monitor IP duplication by using “Gratuitous ARP” (performing an ARP of own

address/es.) to check if any other device is showing registered as this address.

This is a periodic task performed every 5 minutes (non-programmable).

The SV8100 can check for duplication of the CCPU IP addresses and IPLA IP addresses.

See the following table for addresses checked, alarm name and priority.

3.7 Disconnect supervision operation for BCT wrapup

BCT often has agents using headset functionality, using the agent software to answer and control the

phone.

This is an excellent use of the phones and software together. Particularly when used with the disconnect

supervision feature.

Disconnect Supervision is a feature on the SV8100 that automatic clears down your phone when the

incoming caller clears down.

If the SV8100 has disconnect supervision enabled, at the end of the call the handset used by BCT would

go idle and be available for another call or remain in a wrap-up (ACW) state until BCT sees further

activity on the phone (e.g. lifting the handset). This is a useful feature and allows efficient call handling.

For those agents using a handset or a headset plugged into the handset port and uses a cradle device to

control the calls this can be an issue. When the incoming caller clears down, so does the BCT

extension, however because the handset is off hook it creates a new dial tone state. This cause BCT to

believe that the Agent is ready to come out of wrap up immediately.

For this scenario it is better that that the agents do not have disconnect supervision.

Therefore instead of the setting being global (PRG CMD 20-02-09) it has been made a class of service

setting (PRG CMD 20-13-43). Therefore allowing those members that prefer disconnect supervision on

to still have the efficiency and the BCT agents requiring the wrap-up functionality to have this disabled.

3.7.1 Benefits

Allows all modules of BCT to be used with Headset/Handset and the users preferred settings.

3.7.2 Required Software and Hardware

• SV8100 R5 Software

3.7.3 Training Course Required

• If SV8100 trained no further training required.

4. NEW AND ENHANCED BUSINESS FEATURES - SOFTWARE

(INDIVIDUALLY LICENSED)

4.1 ACD Skill Based Routing

Further enhancing the built in functionality of the SV8100, this function allows ACD incoming call to

be distributed to the agent based on by skill level of the agent.

This feature supports both Normal Login Mode and AIC Login Mode.

Skill Based Routing can set to each ACD group.

Skill Based Routing supports Normal Login and AIC Login.

Priority range is 1 to 7. Priority 1 is highest priority.

Call sequence

First call arrives at the free agent with highest priority (priority 1).

Second call arrives at the free agent with highest priority in this case as the priority 1 agent is

unavailable the call arrives at the priority 2 agent.

Page 16: Release Overview SV8100 R5.0 (EMEA) Issue 2sf.nec-unified.com/docs/informations-techniques... · NEC’s UNIVERGE®360 is our approach to help small to medium-sized businesses succeeds

Third call arrives at the free agent with highest priority in this case as the priority 1 agent as has

finished with previous call

Only when priority 1 and 2 agents are unavailable will the priority 3 agent receive a call.

If there are any agents assigned with the same skill level, the system distributes the call in

order to agent’s waiting time (as in standard ACD).

If the LoginID (Agent) does not have a skill table assigned then the system will treat the agent

as a highest level (level 1).

When ACD Group overflow call happens, and the call is transferred to another group, then the

behaviour of the call depends on transferred group setting. For example, when the call transfers

from group 1 to group 2, skill base routing follows group 2 setting.

The agent has to log off from ACD Group when the system data will be changed. Otherwise,

the system data is not applied correctly.

4.1.1 Benefits

Gives much more flexibility and control of how calls are delivered, ensuring calls are delivered to those

best suited so the best possible service can be given.

4.1.2 Required Software and Hardware

• SV8100 R5 Software

• BE110869, LK-SYS-ACD-SKILLBASE-LIC, (2105)

4.1.3 Required Training

If ACD trained then no extra training required.

5.3 NETLINK: Multi-SIP carriers

SV8100 R5 software introduces the ability to have multiple SIP Carriers when using Netlink.

Previously only one SIP carrier was available; now up to 16 Carriers can be used (Max one per node).

Cannot exceed the 200 Trunk Limit.

This helps provide local breakout (reducing traffic and DSP usage across Netlink) and provided

redundancy.

Notes:

Because each Node has its own details for the SIP area and cannot be replicated it is necessary to take

configurations of each when performing SIP Trunk aspects.

VLAN and QoS items are replicated so please take into consideration each nodes IT infrastructure. As

if the secondary becomes a primary, it will take the original Primary’s QoS and VLAN settings.

5.3.1 Benefits

Allows local breakout for external calls. Allows redundancy with multiple trunk carriers.

5.3.2 Required Software and Hardware

• SV8100 R5 Software

• BE110867, LK-SYS-V5000 Enhancements-LIC, (0034)

• Total number of IP Trunk licenses - LK-SYS-IP-TRUNK1-LIC (BE107582)

• Licenses and hardware required under normal Netlink conditions.

All licenses should be added to the Primary Node.

5.4 Callback to Cell Phone

Extending the Mobile Extension functionality even further to remove outbound call charges.

Rather than the normal call in to mobile extension and receive dial tone(for which the mobile would be

charged for the call into the system), there is now the possibility to hangup after one ring and have the

system callback. When answered this presents dialtone off the system in the same way Mobile

extension normally works (the difference being that the Call charges are now at the SV8100).

Notes:

Can be used on ISDN BRI and PRI, SIP Trunks. Cannot be used with Analogue Trunks.

If on answer by the Mobile no DTMF is seen within a set time, the call is disconnected.

If all trunks are busy or not answer at the mobile, the call will not retry.

5.4.1 Benefits

Improves mobility, allows call charges to be made against the system rather than the phone. Makes

accounting easier. Means that workers can use their personal phone (if number entered) to make non

charged calls for company purposes.

5.4.2 Required Software and Hardware
