RELEASE AGREEMENT FOR EDINBORO YOUTH CAMPI hereby give my permission for my child to participate in the programs and activities of Edinboro Camp & Retreat Center. This includes transportation for camp outings. I understand that every caution will be exercised by camp personnel to prevent injury, but that many of life’s activities have inherent dangers. In the event of a medical emergency involving my child, I authorize any hospital/medical treatment deemed necessary by the physician selected by the Edinboro Camp personnel. I realized that every attempt will be made to contact me immediately at the emergency numbers I have listed on this form. I acknowledge that Edinboro Camp & Retreat Center does not provide accident insurance coverage for my child while involved in the camp’s activities. My family’s insurance provider will be used for any coverage so needed. My signature below indicates my agreement and understanding of this release along with the release of liability to Edinboro Camp & Retreat Center, its Director, staff and the Western PA District of the Christian & Missionary Alliance.

Important Information Relating to Camp PoliciesBunk 1 is Back: A creative way of sending your campers a message. Through this service, you will be able to send one-way e-mail messages to you child at camp. You may include pictures, graph-ics, puzzles, etc. in your messages. Be sure to pick up an information brochure at registration.

Homesickness/Visiting Campers/Phone Calls: Homesickness is always an issue, but we have found that campers deal with homesickness much better if they don’t see their parents or someone else’s parents. So we do not encourage visitation during the week. If you feel it is to the camper’s benefit that you should visit, or call them, then please call the Executive Director (Pastor Blair Blakeslee) 814-882-9816 and make arrangements. Thank you!

Edinboro Youth Camps is open to anyone who wants to attend regardless of: Nationality – Race - Ethnic Background – Gender - Religious Affiliation or Church Denomination or No Religious or Church Affiliation.

No Tolerance Policy for: Tobacco Products – Drugs – Alcohol – and/or Weapons.

Camp Standards: We reserve the right to set standards of conduct for all campers. Campers who violate these standards may be subject to immediate dismissal at parent’s expense.

Refuse Admittance: We reserve the right to refuse admittance to any camp week or event based on camp determined justifiable cause.

Electronics: Please do not bring Radios – Tapes – CD’s – MP3 Players – TV/DVD – Hand-held Electronics – Games – Computers.

Lost and Found: Lost and Found items will be held for 2 months. Requested items will be mailed C.O.D.

Medications: All camper prescription medications must be brought to camp in their original container.

Meals on Check-In Nights: No meals served on the night of Check-In. However, the Snack Shop will be open that evening for purchase. All snacks are provided for EXPLORER weekend.

What to Bring: Bible, pen/pencil, note tablet, snack shop money, clothing suitable for camp (including a jacket and modest swim suit), flashlight, soap, sun screen, towels, toothbrush, tooth-paste, sleeping bag or bedding and pillow, and other personal hygiene items. Please label all camper items.

What Not to Bring: Radios, CD Players, iPods, knives, laser pointers, electronic games, cell phones, computers, tablets, or weapons.

EDINBORO CAMP is first and fore-most a camp that ministers to the spiritual needs of campers.

We seek to keep the Lord Jesus Christ at the center of all activities.

We strive to minister to the campers’ all around needs including: spiritual, physical and emotional.

Services are held daily with special speakers, music and missionaries.

A varity of athletic and no-athletic activities are planned as well.
