South Sacramento Habitat Conservation Plan (SSHCP) Update.

The next meeting of our Regional Issues Builder / Developer Council will be featuring Stacey McKinley with The McKinley Group and Project Manager for the South Sacramento Habitat Conservation Plan (SSHCP). Ms. McKinley will be providing the group with an update on the South Sacramento Habitat Conservation Plan.

As way of background, in May of this year Ms. McKinley was named the Project Manager for the South Sacramento Habitat Conservation Plan (SSHCP). Serving the SSHCP Applicant Group, comprised of the County of Sacramento, the Cities of Rancho Cordova, Elk Grove, and Galt, the Capital Southeast Connector, the Sacramento Water Agency and the Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District, Ms. McKinley has been tasked with managing the completion of a draft Plan to ensure the long-term viability of efforts to aid and enhance the recovery of sensitive species and to protect habitat in an integrated manner.

McKinley is uniquely qualified to assist the applicant group in on-going negotiations with the Regulatory Agencies. Her background includes extensive experience with staff of the US Fish and Wildlife Service, the Army Corp of Engineers, the Environmental Protection Agency, the State Department of Fish and Game and the State Water Quality Control Board.
