SAMU

SAMU is the international logo for the Public Medical Emergency Exclusive Call Center for Alerting, Requesting, and Regulating the real Needs and giving the most efficient Medical Emergency Response. It has a local name in several countries


SAMU in popular speaking is used also

• For the function or premises of the SAMU center

• For the response dispatched by the proper SAMU as Ambulances or MICU


MICU of SAMU Services• Disseminated in the regional area of Medical Regulation

of a SAMU these Mobile Intensive Care Unities are based on peripherical bases and are labelled with the logo of this « SAMU »

• They are one of the SAMU response in case of Out of Hospital Medical Intensive Care needs

• They are the first to intervene and represent the SAMU on the scene for Emergency Public Health disasters
