Programming the Auto Door Unlock Setting

1.Close the driver’s door.Shift intoPark.

2.Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

3.Press and hold the unlock side ofthe master lock switch for about10 seconds. In that time, you willhear three clicks.

To program all doors and the tailgate to unlock when you shift to Park:

INFORMATION DISPLAY

Consists of several displays that provide you with useful information.

TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM (TPMS)

Monitors the vehicle’s tire pressures.

What to Do

How It Works

Each tire valve stem containsa TPMS sensor.

When the tire pressure dropssignificantly below recommendedlevels, the low tire pressureindicator comes on.

If the TPMS indicator appears, theremay be a problem with the system.See your dealer.

1.Visually inspect the tires fordamage.

2.Use a tire air pressure gauge tocheck which tire(s) have lowpressure.

3. Inflate the tire(s), if necessary,to the recommended pressureslisted on the label on thedriver’s doorjamb.

The HomeLink Universal Transceiver can be programmed to operate up to threeremote-controlled devices around your home, such as garage doors, lighting, or homesecurity systems.

Press and hold the button on the remote and the HomeLink button at the same time. Then, whilecontinuing to hold the HomeLink button, press and release the buttonon the remote every 2 seconds.Does the LED blink at a faster rate within 20 seconds?

How It Works

• When you shift into Reverse (R), a real-time imageof the area behind your vehicle is shown in thenavigation display.

• Yellow parking guide lines also appear to help youjudge distance.

• The rearview display turns off when you shift out ofReverse.

For added convenience, the area behind your vehicle is displayed to help you navigatewhile backing up.

Pick-Up button:Answer an incoming call,or go directly to the Phone screen.

NAVIGAT ION Real-time navigation system uses GPS and a map database to show your currentlocation and help guide you to a desired destination.

Entering a Destination Using Voice CommandsFind a nearby point of interest, such as a gas station, movie theater, restaurant, etc.


1. From the map screen, say “Findnearest ATM.”

2. A list of the nearest ATMs inyour area is displayed byshortest distance to destination.

3. Say the number next to thedestination you want to select.

4. The system calculates anddisplays the route.

Set a destination using a street address. For other destination options, see yourNavigation Manual.


1. Say “Display menu.”Say “Address.”

2. Say “Street,” then say the streetname on the next screen. Donot include the direction (N, S, E,W) or type (St.,Ave., Blvd., etc.).

3. A list of street names appears.Say the number next to thestreet you want.

4. Say the entire street addressnumber. For example, “1-2-3-4.” Ifnecessary, say “OK” to proceed.

5. If the street address is in morethan one city, a list of city namesappears.Say the number next tothe city you want to select.

SAFETY REMINDER

Your vehicle is equipped with airbags. Airbags do not replace seat belts; they add tothe protection offered by seat belts. Airbags can help protect you in some types ofcollisions, but they do not provide protection in all collisions.

Always make sure you and your passengers wear seat belts, and that young childrenare properly secured in a child seat or booster in the rear seat. Never place an infantseat in the front passenger’s seat as the force of a deploying airbag can seriouslyinjure an infant.

FUEL RECOMMENDAT ION

• Only use unleaded gasoline of 87 octane or higher.• Some gasoline in North America contains MMT, a manganese-based fuel additive.

Prolonged and consistent use of gasoline containing MMT can deteriorate yourvehicle’s performance, fuel economy, and the emission control system. Always useMMT-free gasoline if available. Failures caused by use of gasoline containing MMTmay not be covered under warranty.

• “TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline” meets a new gasoline standard jointly establishedby leading automotive manufacturers to meet the needs of today’s advancedengines. In most cases, qualifying gasoline retailers will identify their gasoline ashaving met “TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline” standards at the retail location. Thisfuel is guaranteed to contain the proper level of detergent additives and be free ofmetallic additives. This helps avoid build-up of deposits in your engine andemission control system. Because the level of detergency and harmful metallicadditives (such as MMT) in gasoline vary in the market, Honda endorses the useof “TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline” where available to help maintain theperformance and reliability of your vehicle.
