Note: The driver’s and front passenger’s doors can be opened by pulling theinner front door handle, regardless of the setting. Changing the setting to“All Doors” is useful for rear passengers and opening the power tailgate .

Program various vehicle settings using the MID. One example is shown below. Seeyour Owner’s Manual for other customizable settings.

1. Select DOOR SETUP.

damage.

2. Use a tire air pressure gauge(or check the MID) to checkwhich tire(s) have low pressure.

3. Inflate the tire(s), if necessary,to the recommended pressureslisted on the label on thedriver’s doorjamb.

Only the driver’s door is preset to unlock when you shift into Park (P). You canchange this to a different setting.

4. The setting is displayed, andthe display returns to theAUTO DOOR UNLOCK menu.

If the tire pressure drops significantly below recommended levels:• The low tire pressure indicator comes on.• A “CHECK TIRE PRESSURE” message appears on the MID, showing

which tire(s) have low pressure.

Press either Info button (▲/▼)to exit the menu.

1. Turn the vehicle on. Shift intoPark (P).

3. Press SET. You will hear a beep.

2. Adjust the seat and outsidemirrors to your preferred positions.

4. Within 5 seconds, press thememory button correspondingto the remote (1 or 2) you areusing. You will hear two beeps.

Notes:• Once set, stored positions can be recalled by pressing one of the memory

buttons (1 or 2) on the door.• Lumbar position cannot be stored.

When you shift into Reverse (R), either door mirror can be tilted downward to improveyour view as you parallel park. Shifting out of Reverse returns the tilted mirror to itsoriginal position.

• To tilt the driver’s doormirror, push the mirrorselector switch to the left(L) position when inReverse.

• To tilt the passenger’sdoor mirror, push themirror selector switch tothe right (R) positionwhen in Reverse.

• To turn the feature off,push the switch to themiddle position.

For your convenience, your vehicle’s headlights automatically turn on when thewindshield wipers operate.

• Make sure your headlights are in the AUTOposition.

• Turn on your windshield wipers. Theheadlights also turn on.

• When you turn off the windshield wipers,the headlights turn off shortly after.

• Lightly push the turn signallever up or down for athree-blink sequence.

• For a continuous signal,push the lever up or downuntil it locks into place.

Use this quick and convenient method to signal a lane change.

In ANYTIME mode: Press andhold the tailgate button forabout one second to unlockand open the tailgate.

In WHEN UNLOCKED mode:Press the unlock button twice tounlock all doors and thetailgate. Then press and holdthe tailgate button for aboutone second.

The vehicle must be off with the remote in operating range.

Use the MID to set the power tailgate keyless open mode to your preference.See your Owner’s Manual for instructions, or see page 8 for an example of howto change a setting.

The vehicle must be in Park (P) with all doors unlocked.

• Press and hold the tailgatebutton until a beep sounds.The tailgate begins to open.

• To close the tailgate, pressthe button again at any time.

V o i c e C o m m a n d T i p s• When using the Talk button, wait for a beep, then say a command. To

bypass the system prompts, simply press the Talk button again to say yourcommand.

• To turn off the system prompts: Press INFO, select Setup, select Other, selectBasic Settings, and select OFF for Voice Recognition Tutor.

• When the Talk button is pressed, all available voice commands arehighlighted in blue.

• Speak in a clear, natural voice, and reduce all background noise.• Adjust the dashboard and side vents away from the microphone in the

ceiling, and close the windows.• To hear a list of available commands at any time, press and release the Talk

button, then say “Help.” For a list of full commands by category, say “Displayinformation” followed by “Voice Info,” or see your Navigation Manual.

Pick-Up button: Answer an incomingcall, or go directly to the Phone screen.

Hang-Up button: End a call or decline acall.

Talk button: Give HFL, navigation,AcuraLink, audio, or climate controlcommands.

Back button: Cancel a command andreturn to the previous screen.

1. From the map screen, say“Find nearest ATM.”

2. A list of the nearest ATMs inyour area is displayed byshortest distance todestination.

3. Say the number next to thedestination you want to select.

4. The system displays the“Calculate route to” screen.Say “OK” to set the route.
