Indication : This interlocking nail system is the result of long termexperience in medullary nailing. This nail can be used for the followingfractures;Femoral shaft fractures.Subtrochanteric fracturesImpending pathologic fracturesIpsilateral femoral neck / shaft fracturesFor femoral shaft fractures or stable subtrochanteric fractures, 135ºantegrade fixation for the left-side / right-side femur. Locking boltsscrew diameter is proximaly and distaly the same.In pertrochanteric(femoral neck) fractures as well as subtrochanteric fractures, thisfemoral nail system (nails for the left and right femur with 8º anteversionintegrated in proximal nail drill holes) offer a secure fixation. This nailsystem can also be applied in the case of dangerous pathologicfractures. Fixation is achieved with lag screws placed into femoralneck in retrograde direction, as a result rotation is avoided.

Indication : Staples are used in tendon and ligament fixation. Introduced through the interior of the guide with the staple screwed onto its end, proceeding with impaction of this staple at the desired point. Sharp spikes with a bevelled edge allow an easy insertion. This feature prevents any divergence of staple legs, even on convex cortical areas. These staples are fixed and stable in any direction, which guarantees the absence of spontaneous extraction and rigorous steadiness of the metarial, providing immediate stability to whole system and suppressing subsequent pain generally experienced due to micromovements of the material used. Removing these staples remains easy owing to the firm grip of the staple driver.
Material : The Thorny s tap le is manufactured from casting Cr.Co-alloy according to ASTM F.75 - ISO 5832/4. This alloy characterized by demonstrating excellent biocompatibility together with a high resistance of corrosion and superiormechanical strength.

Indication : Osteosynthesis fixation staples for tibial or femoral osteotomy. Easy penetration, owing to the sharp spikes with a bevelled edge. No need for pilot holes being drilled. The 1.5 mm divergerce of the legs of the staples allow a progressive impact on both sides of the osteotomy. The anti-recoil contours are really efficient because they are set on the inner sides of the staple’s legs precisely where pressure is applied. The fins increase the application surface of the forces on the cortical bone, which is often fragile, thus reducing the risk of subsequent loosening of the bond.

Indication : Staples are used for the temporary arrest of growth inorder to correct a deformity of inequality of length. It is recomendedthat two or more staples be used on each size of epiphysis. Straightlateral incisions are used for a single epiphysis and slightly curvedincisions for exposing both tibial and femoral epiphysis. The periosteumis freed sufficiently so that it may be retracted anteriorly for theintroduction of one staple and posteriorly for the second staples.
