Building view and Layout of Rooms

• This is just simply an outside shots of the building used highlighting the rooms I will use and there location, along with a floor plan of the two rooms I used for my ‘Floor Plan’ part of Pre production. The entire top floor of this building is the apartment being used, however I am only using the two rooms highlighted in the image. I am using this building because it has three stories and therefore I can use the top floor as an effective stakeout room. Also, the car park outside provides the perfect location the film my block off and the end of my beginning because the suspect can leave the building, get in a car and drive off very easily.

Lounge Area• This is the area in which the first third

(roughly) of my film will be filmed. This is lounge area of the apartment in which I will arrive back, throw the sandwich to Charlie and in which we will have a discussion before moving into the stakeout room. The room is long, well lit and has the perfect furniture for what I want in my film. However, there will be a coffee table placed in front of the sofa when we are filming. Having the door close to the sofa makes it nice and simple for me to film the sandwich throw well using match on action because the two people involved will be relatively close together. The Christmas Tree will not be in the lounge when I film.

Stakeout Area• This is the area I will use to film the

second part of my film in. This is the area I will use for the Stakeout part of my film. In the top photo where the sofa is will be a table and chairs where I will put the stakeout equipment. The room is being used because is it easy access from the lounge area (double doors) and because the windows shown in the photos have a line of sight down onto the car park, as it would be in a real stakeout. The Coffee table in this room is the one that I will move into the lounge and use in there instead.
