Dear Friends and Partners, Greetings in Jesus’ Name from Nagpur City, India. Mony and I wish you all a wonderful THANKSGIVING WITH YOUR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS. WE ALSO WISH YOU A BLESSED AND PROSPEROUS CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR! We have just completed the five-day international family conference and over 1600 delegates attended the conference. We all experienced an amazing outpouring of the Spirit upon us and thus people were blessed, encouraged and challenged. Many came forward to respond to the altar calls. Many sent WhatsApp messages that this was one of the best conferences: good topic (Nehemiah), anointed preachers, good worship, decent food, and good accommodations. We have together dreamed to raise up more leaders in different regions of each state and in turn plant 100,000 more house churches through our missionaries and the graduates of the seminary and Bible colleges of Mission India. Thank you for your prayers and financial support for the conference. Your investment will continue to bear much fruit for eternity. We also heard many powerful testimonies at the conference – see page 2 for one of them. In Chapter 6 of the book of Nehemiah, we see that the enemy kept on bringing distractions to Nehemiah so that he would not complete the wall. Three men (Sanballat, Tobiah, and Geshem) used various ploys to distract and discourage Nehemiah from his mission by seeking to harm him (v.2), intimidate with false reports (vv.5-6), deceive with false prophets (vv.7- 13), and influence with nobles of Judah (17-19). Their plans were futile because they were fighting God’s plan. Like Nehemiah, the enemy today brings many distractions in this part of the world through new regulations and laws and physical attacks on God’s people. Some of the recent news stories include: an upcoming Christmas event has been stalled by fanatics, Brother Kain in Madhya Pradesh was taken into police custody and accused of forcible conversion, and fanatics inhumanly attacked a pastor and his wife during Sunday service in Karnataka. These are only a few stories. However, we as God’s people know well that we are doing “great work” and we will not be intimated by Satan’s schemes that appear through people who are disobedient to God. Yes, we will continue to dream big dreams for our great God. We are doing great ministry (building His kingdom) and thus we reject all schemes of the enemy. Dear Friends and Partners,

Greetings in Jesus’ Name from Nagpur City, India.

Three

men (Sanballat, Tobiah, and Geshem) used various ploys to distract and discourage Nehemiah from his mission by seeking to harm him (v.2), intimidate with false reports (vv.5-6), deceive with false prophets (vv.7-13), and influence with nobles of Judah (17-19).

Let us not lose heart because of oppositions and challenges.

Tortured by Family, Transformed by ChristReena is one of the 16 brilliant students at the Raipur MIBC. All except one come from a Hindu background.

Reena grew up in a small village of the state of Chhattisgarh in Central India. She has one brother and three sisters. Her mother is alive. However, she grew up without a father who committed

suicide due to various family pressures. They served all the Hindu gods, especially the goddess Kali.

Reena was raised by her grandparents, but her grandmother was very brutal to her. She did not go to school and was forced to do all the work in the house. She would receive one meal a day. Her grandma tortured her daily. One day, Reena was

weak and unable to get up and do the chores around the house. Her grandma became furious with her and threw scalding hot water on Reena’s face and she had to seek medical assistance. Fortunately, no serious damage was done to Reena.

Through one of her distant relatives, she heard about Jesus Christ and one pastor led her to faith in Christ. Today she is happy and has found a new purpose in life. She is confident of her eternal life. Her mother works in a factory to support the family. Reena shared with her family about Christ and today all of the siblings have come to Christ and attend church.

Reena’s desire is to study further and to be involved in compassion ministries, especially taking care of widows. God willing, under her leadership, we may open a center for widows at the campus in Raipur. If you are interested to help poor widows, please contact the RIMI office today.

Like Reena, around 600 students are receiving theological training through RIMI. Most of them are not able to pay anything toward the tuition fees. Please be a partner to raise up next generation leaders.

From Poor to Public ServantChandra Prasad Bansod comes from a poor background. His father was an alcoholic and did not take care of the family. His mother worked as a maid, but struggled to meet their daily needs. She sent her son to the Mission India Mercy Home and Chandra grew up there.

Through the support and prayers of RIMI partners, he studied well. Chandra now works as a junior engineer in Vizag with the Government of India. He said that

the mercy home was like heaven. He thanked all of you and Mission India for giving him a hope to dream big. He closed his testimony by reading from Proverbs 5:1-2, “My son, incline your ear to my understanding so you may have knowledge.” Tom Dooley, our board member from Birmingham, AL, prayed for, and blessed, this young leader.

Thousands of children have found hope and a future through the compassion programs of Mission India. Thank you for your partnership. Tom Dooley blessing

Chandra Bansod

Reaching Indians Ministries International 3

We just finished our annual leadership conference from October 30 - November 3. It was a great time of fellowship and planning with over 1,600 of our missionaries and their families. Our theme was “Be People of Action to Transform India and Beyond” taken from the book of Nehemiah. Thank you to all who have prayed for this conference and those who have donated. Also, a special thank you to the various Indian state delegations and staff who helped cover the cost of some of the meals. Truly this was a team effort and a great example of sharing the need.
