an ‘Induction of President’ charge in

handing over to Bryant as our

President for 2011-12

All members wish you a successful

and rewarding year as the third

President of the RCFB Bryant.

Thank You AG Simone

AG Simone had a challenging year as

President trying to balance Rotary

with a very young family, work and

living at a distance.

All members thank you most sincerely

Simone for your ‘Service Above Self’

in 2010-11 when President Ray

Klinginsmith’s Theme was Building

Communities Bridging Continents.

This Rotary Year Simone will be

working at District level as an

Assistant Governor for DG Liz

Westoby, as well as Chairing the

District Rotaract Committee. As a

very experienced Rotaractor prior to

becoming a Rotarian, this is one of her

areas of expertise.

Simone has taken leave from the Club

as she works to set up an E-Club along

with her other District responsibilities.

All members wish you well with all

these endeavors Simone and look

forward to seeing you whenever you

have time to pay us a visit.

No. WR-010-2011 Maiti Foundation

in Nepal. This is being looked after by

Gillian and Clifford Yudelman who

support this project of rescuing young

girls who are being trafficked out of

Nepal into surrounding countries.

These two couples have worked

through the necessary paperwork to

have these projects listed in record

time. Well done folks and every

success with your wonderful work.

French Students at

Milner Int. College

Warren says all three French Students

who are studying at Miller Int. College

due to the Scholarships provide by

him, are a delight.

We look forward to having the

students address one of our meetings

next month and to perhaps hosting a

BBQ as a social activity for members

to get to know the students a little.

Ella James – Heartfelt

Thanks

No doubt about the younger

generation. Ella James came to the

rescue last Monday and kindly put the

Program for Changeover together plus

produced an excellent ‘Certificate of

Appreciation’ for the North Cottesloe

Primary School. Ella has also agreed

to assist us with putting a Bulletin in

place, Thank You Ella.

Microscopes Held Up

CEO of the Science Teacher’s

Association of WA advised on Friday

that the next shipment of Microscopes,

which were expected mid to late June,

will in fact not arrive until about mid

August. This is very disappointing

news but something over which we

have no control. Sec. Di has advised

all Clubs who are awaiting orders.

FCFBCFI

Solicitor Maryanne McKenzie has

kindly agreed to notify the Department

of Commerce and the ATO of the

changes voted on at the Special

Meeting of the RCFB Charity Fund

Inc. She will also meet with Ken to

talk about the material he has put

together to proceed with the

application for Tax Deductible Status

for Off Shore Projects.

Blaise Johnson

Due to a variety of challenges faced by

Blaise, we’ve not seen her at the Club

for the past 18 months. Blaise advised

that this was not likely to change in

the near future so has resigned as a

member, but will continue to be listed

as a ‘Friend of the RCFB. Blaise

strongly supports the work of Rotary

and says she will continue with an

annual cash donation to the Club.

Thank you Blaise and please come to

any meeting at anytime.

Rotary Pin

All Rotarians are identified by the

Rotary Pin which is presented to each

person at their induction.

Please wear your Rotary Pin at all

times (where practicable) as it

identifies you as a Rotarian.
