Selling strategies

Methods of saleAt Ray White we understand to find the right buyer and achieve the maximum price there is a great deal more to selling than simply placing a “For Sale” sign in front of your home. Either of the following methods may be suitable.

Private treatyThis is a good method of sale if there is no rush to sell your property and you find the prospect of an auction too daunting.

Private treaty suits those who prefer a relatively low key approach and where perhaps time is not a major consideration. This method involves placing your property in our hands for an agreed period of time with a pre-determined asking price.

The length of the marketing period is open ended and continues until your home is sold. Many homes are successfully sold using this method, however, should your home be in high demand eg; ocean views or close proximity to the beach etc, it may be more suited to the Auction method.

AuctionSale by public auction is widely recognised as the most effective and successful method of achieving a premium price for your property in the shortest possible time. This is achieved by the following —

An individually tailored marketing campaign intended to saturate specific buyers in the market.

The contract for sale will be on your terms and conditions of the sale are predetermined.

An auction date creates a sense of urgency for buyers yet still allows prospective purchasers ample time to complete their own inquiries and arrange finance.
