THE DIFFERENCE IS MEMJET

At the heart of the Rapid Printers is the Memjet printhead.

Since traditional inkjet printheads have to sweep back and forth across the media to print speed is greatly diminished.

The Memjet printhead is 8.66” (220mm) wide. Media passes underneath without any lateral movement from the printhead. Speed is greatly increased with 70,400 print nozzles firing up to 755,000,000 ink droplets per second on to media that is traveling at up to 12 linear inches per second (18 meters per minute)!


Designed to meet all labelling needs, the X1 features an unwind – print – rewind system with a maximum roll diameter of 12 inches (305mm).

The X1 is perfectly suited for pre cut and stripped labels, however it is not limited to this only, blank media for print and post finishing is a breeze on the X1

Perfect for all small to medium sized print businesses or

even “in plant” production, the X1 is sure to add value.


Designed for higher continuous output, the Rapid X2 meets the needs for those requiring a print to loop solution.

The X2 has a maximum 25.6 inch (650mm) diameter continuous roll capacity that feeds straight into the necessary finishing requirements such as lamination, dye cut, strip and rewind. Pre cut labels can also be printed on the Rapid X2

The Rapid X2 supplements and compliments all label finishing methods available today.

The ability to print with a resolution of up to 1600 x 1600 dpi on a variety of substrates our CMYKK process offers color richness and details that are greatly defined.

EASE OF USE

Our print engine features an internal hardware enabled RIP, this means printing is as simple as pressing CTRL+P, selecting the quantity to print and clicking OK. With our windows based driver you can print from any standard design program or specialty program you might use.

The ink cartridges used in Rapid Label machinery are hot swappable, meaning there is no need to restart a print job to change inks. Our inks are aqueous dye based meeting all environmental standards and have no VOC’s or harmful fumes, thus there is no need to install special venting duct work.
