•The weather is hot all year. •It’s called a rainforest because it’s always wet!
•It rains everyday!•It feels hot and sticky.
Do you know how to grow a tree?
Dig a hole.
Put the seed in
the hole.
Cover the seed with
soil.
Water the soil.
•The rainforest is home to millions of ants.
•Although they are small, they are very strong when they work together as a group.
Let’s learn about some insects in the rainforest:
It is a beetle.
It is a dragonfly.
A moth is a flying insect, like a butterfly, but less brightly colored. They fly mainly at night and are attracted to
bright lights.
Piranha is a small South American
freshwater fish that attacks and
eats live animals .
The water that is not the sea and is not
salty.
This big cat is a jaguar.
The king of the rainforest!
It’s strong, fast and very dangerous!
The rainforest is very important to all of us.
It cleans the air and is home to many animals and plants.
If we protect the rainforest, we can help save the world!
