• Rainforests are full of trees. They are near the equator so most of them are warm and wet.

• All of the rain can be helpful to the many amphibians that need wet skin to live such as tree frogs.

• Animals need trees for food. The macaw has a strong beak so it can crack open nuts.

• Animals get energy by eating other plants or animals.
• An example would be a capybara eats grass and the puma eats the capybara.
