  • Better Sealing LipThese seals are designed witha spring-loaded lip, reinforcedmetal case and a short flexsection. Along with a definedlip geometry and proprietarymaterials, this ensures that thesealing lip does not lift or rollin high pressure applications.

    In pressure seals, the main lipcontact pressure distributionis shifted towards the air sidedue to lip deformation andspring position. The increasedcontact band with the shaftincreases friction, heat generation and wear.
