WHAT IS QUIZLET?• Digital Flash cards – ideally created by the teacher based on Glossary terms and

they can also be viewed on other mobile devices.

• Flash cards – intro to terms and definitions - Term, definition or both (with or without audio) – this may include images as well.

• Learn – practice/rehearsal of terms and definitions

• Speller – spelling practice (with or without audio)

• Test – various automatic tests – (MCQ, T/F, matching terms, written)

• Games – Scatter (matching terms and definitions, space race typing game)

• List – Simple view of terms

• Scores – Student progress

• Export – export the terms and definitions as a table to Powerpoint, excel or other flashcard programs

Mastering vocabulary is essential to any subject – you can’t converse in French if you don’t know French words.

2. Sign-up

3. Select - Create a study set (limited to 8 if not purchased - $15 per annum)

4. Title – (strongly suggest you establish a protocol eg TCC – Yr 10 Chem Ch 2.1)

5. Select languages x 2

6. You can type in terms and definitions,

7. or you can import everything from a table,

8. or you can work with auto definitions

9. Insert images or recordings (need to pay for this feature as far as I know)

10. Create then export to PowerPoint
