VocalsPlaceMiCdirectlyinfrontofthesingerfrom6to24inchesawaywiththefrontofMiCpointedtowardsthesinger.ThecloserthesingeristoMiC,themorelowendorbassitwillpickup.MiChasapolarpatternthatiscardioid,whichmeansthatitwillbemosteffectiverecordingsoundsthataredirectlyinfrontofMiCandincreasinglylessonthesides.

BesuretocheckyourlevelsontheStatusIndicatorLight.ThebestwaytodothisistosingtheloudestpassageyouwillberecordingandadjustthegainsotheStatusIndicatorLightisGreenandnotRed.Ifthelightbecomesredwhenrecording,theinputistoohotandtherecordingwillbedistorted.

WehighlyrecommendusingapopfilterwhenrecordingvocalswithMiC.Thiswillshieldthemicrophonecapsulefromsuddenburstsofair,minimizingpoppinganddistortion.
