Question 1

• Of those who answered my questioner, a 75% majority was male, although I did my best efforts to balance out in terms of who I gave the questioner link to, leading me to believe that the target audience for a conspiracy short film is predominantly male.

Question 2 My research showed most

of my target audience is aged 15-17, with a few individuals on either side of that age boundary. I should target my film towards this sort of age range.

Q5:What do you think makes a short film good?

One that doesn't have too much happening for the audience to understand and it shouldn't have too many characters.

I believe that short films generally tend to have some emotion in them without having a large amount of exposition or diolouge. For example pixars animated shorts.

Question 6:

It seems the general overview is divided into three camps on this topic. Those that find conspiracies serious, those that find them comedic and those that associate it with a genre other than thriller or comedy.

I think that from this, my choice of genre will have to be comedy or thriller, I'll most likely choose a thriller but perhaps include an element or two of comedy to appeal to the other third.

Q7 This result clearly shows my target

audience’s demand for comedic elements. While my plan is to make the film a thriller, I might consider appealing to these people by including one comedic moment.

Q8 Here we can see that the

illuminati is the most convincing conspiracy theory in the minds of the public.

Second place was the ‘Other’ tab, which consisted of multiple answers, two of them including the illuminati plus an addition that wasn’t on the list.

What I can take away from this is that I should have hints or evidence of a new world order in my film, perhaps this would be the looming , evil force that controlled everything that happened in the story.

Q9: Are there any other ideas or comments you wish to make about short films?

No n/a No Naaaaaaaah mate I think you should make a comedy No thanks illuminati would rule the world it cant be too short or too long, in my opinion it should be between 5-

10 minutes You easily over-do the comedic in short student-made films. Try to not

make it 100% unserious.
