เรยกกนว Question Tag อกตอนหนง        Affirmative Statement + anomalous verb +n't + pronoun? Negative Statement , anomalous verb + pronoun?

   เชน Your friend has come back , hasn't he? Your friend hasn't come back , has he? She will leave tomorrow , won't she? She won't leave tomorrow , will she?

หลกการเขยน Question Tag 1. ถ ประโยคทม ข งหน เปนประโยคบอกเล ตองใช question tag เปนรปปฏเสธ                - You eat a lot of oranges , don't you? - They have finished their work , haven't they?

2. ถ ประโยคทม ข งหน เปนประโยคปฏเสธ ตองใช question tag เปนรปบอกเล                 - You won't come early , will you? - We didn't make a loud noise , did we?

3. ถาประโยคขางหนาม verb to have(a) เมอ have แปลว "ม" จะใช tag ว haven't หรอ don't กได

         - She has a lot of friends , hasn't she? ( แบบ British) (b) เมอ have แปลอย งอน ทไมใชแปลว "ม" ใหใช verb to do ม ชวย             - We have lunch at twelve o'clock , dont' we? (=กน) (c) question tag ของ "have to" (= จำ เปนตอง ) ใช verb to do ม ชวย              - You often have to go to the dentist's , don't you?

4. ในประโยค tag ทเปนรปปฏเสธ ตองใช รปยอเสมอ        - He will come to my party , won't he?

5. Question tag ของ I am ค aren't I ( เนองจ ก am not ไมมรปยอ) - I am late , aren't I 6. Question tag ของกรย ชวย can ,could , may , might , will shall should ,V. be , etc....จะใชกรย

ชวยเหล นเปน question tag ได - She can do it well , can't she? - They should obey their teacher, shouldn't they?

7. คำ ว "need" (ตองก ร) และ "dare" (กล ) มวธใช 2 แบบคอ              

(a) ใชเปนกรย แท tag กจะใช verb to do ม ชวย            - He needs to go there alone , doesn't he? - We don't dare to tell a lie , do we? ( ขอสงเกต ถ "need" "dare" ใชเปนกรย แท จะต มหลงดวย to +V1 โดยทกรย                     need / dare ส ม รถผนต มประธ นได หรออ จต ม

(b) ใชเปนกรย ชวย tag จะใช need / dare เปนกรย ชวยใน tag - She needn't come onYou dare not Sunday , need she?

9. ประธ นทใชใน tag ตองเปน pronoun เสมอ                    - Vinai went to Chiang Mai yesterday, didn't he? - The children are playing in the garden , aren't they? - The police are searching for a thief , are they 10. tag ของ would like (=ตองก ร) ใช wouldn't - We'd like to go now , wouldn't we?

• 11. tag ของ would rather (= อย กจะ) ใชwouldn't - You'd rather stay at home , wouldn't you - We would rather not go there , would we? 12. tag ของ had better ใช hadn't - You 'd better finish your homework , hadn't you? - She had better not go out alone , had she?

13. ประโยคคำาสง หรอ ขอรอง (Imperative , order , request ) จะกลายเปนประโยคสภาพ        ดวยก รเตม question tag ว will you หรอ won't you? - Open your book , will you? 14. ถาประโยคขางหนามประธานเปน There is , There are , There was, There were, - There is a purse in my bag , isn't there?

15. Question Tag ของ That is.., This is คอisn't it ? หรอ is it? - That is not your bag , is it?

16. Question Tag ของ These are , Those are ใช aren't they? หรอ are they?

- These are her belongings , aren't they? - These are your exercise books, aren't they?

17. คำ ตอไปนคอ few , little , never , rarely , scarcely , hardly , seldom , neither , none , none , , no one , nobody ,, nothing มคว มหม ยกง

ปฏเสธและปฏเสธ เพร ะฉะนน tag จะเปนบอกเล    - Few students knew the answers , did they? - We have seldom seen such large apples , have we.

- You rarely go to the cinema , do you?

• 18. ประโยคทใชประธาน one ใน tag จะใช one เชน                - One wants to be rich , doesn't one? 19. ถาประธานเปน evryone , everybody , everything , no one , nobody , anybody , neither ในสวน tag ใหใช they เชน        - Everyone likes it , don't they? - Nobody knows the answer , do they? - None of the workmen arrived on time , did they?

• 20. ถาเปนประโยคซบซอน ใหใชกรยาใน main clause เปนหลก ยกเวน ถาใน main clause หม ยถง ตวเองหรอบรษท 1 เชน    - He said he could come , did he? - I think he is a good boy , isn't he?

การออกเสยงประโยคคำาถามQuestion tag         คำาถามทจะไดคำาตอบ Yes, No โดยปกตจะขนเสยง สงททายประโยค แตสำาหรบคำาถามแบบ Question Tag
