QAIA maintained its growth in passengers during 2014, closing above 7 Million PAX for the first time in the
Airport’s history.
Passenger (PAX) traffic for December-14 witnessed a growth of 4.09% over December-13, and 9.02% over
YTD December 2013.
Aircraft Movements (ACMs) movements for December-14 showed a decline of -0.29% over December-13,
and a growth of 7.60% over YTD December 2013.
Cargo & Freight Movements (CFMs) Cargo movements for December-14 showed a growth of 9.08% over
December-13, and 0.67% over YTD December 2013.

The below chart represents our top 15 destinations based on PAX traffic.
Within QAIA destinations network, our most significant markets were DXB, JED, CAI, BEY and RUH collectively
having ~ 2,307,042 PAX which is 32.5% of QAIA’s 2014 bi-directional traffic.
In terms of the broader market (outside the MENA region), the most significant markets were IST, LHR,
(BKK/KUL/HKG) and CDG collectively having ~ 870,628 PAX which is 12.3% of QAIA’s 2014 bi-directional traffic.
In terms of ACMs, the top 10 airlines sorted in descending order were Royal Jordanian, Middle East Airlines,
National Air Services, Egypt Air and Etihad Airways, Turkish Airlines, Emirates Airlines, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Gulf
Air and Iraqi Airways.
