Why do you like rock music? It’s fun and passionate. The lyrics and rhythm work together to create amazing songs. I can really relate to what they’re saying, I prefer it to other genres as I feel that rock

music gets a deeper message across.

What is your favourite sub-genre of rock music and why?Hardcore- It’s angry and I like the way it sounds.

Indie- I really like it, it’s something I can’t explain.Punk Rock- It’s fun, but can have a serious message without being too heavy.

Which music magazine is your favourite and why?Alternative Press- It suits the genre of music I listen to. It focuses mainly on the

bands/artists I like.Kerrang! or NME- It has more of the music I listen to. It lists gigs and tour dates of

the genre I like. Kerrang!- The bands attract me to it.

Who is your favourite artist/band and why?Your Demise- I like their music.

Kasabian- They’re music is ageless and I can listen to it over and over again. Paramore- They have a song for every mood.

Do you attend rock concerts and how often?I attend rock concerts several times a month, I like the atmosphere and the amazing

feeling of seeing the band you like live.

What would you expect to find on the cover of a music magazine?Images, what’s inside. A large image of the main artist/band that the magazine will be

focusing on this month.

Would a text heavy front cover put you off and why?It looks to busy and clutters the front, so yes it would. I feel that it should be kept as

simple as possible and eye catching.

Which of these covers do you prefer? Why?The Mighty Boosh cover, it was large and had someone I liked on it. It really attracted

me to it. The Sex Pistols cover, it was simple and the main image took up all your attention.

The Biffy Clyro cover, it was simple and too much writing and cluttering puts me off.

What attracts you the most?Who’s on the cover. If I like someone and they’re on the cover then I will buy it. Also

if the article looks interesting.
