The Qatar Culinary Professionals (QCP) is the association ofprofessional chef's affiliated in World Association of Chefs Societies(WACS). It is not-for-profit organization dedicated in maintaining,advancement and improving the international culinary prestige ofQatar.
This Qatar Chefs Association, founded in 2014, is one of thesmallest yet most steadily growing active chef associations withinthe Middle East. In three years, QCP continuous its success inorganizing events with support of their Chefs members andCorporate Partners.

HOSPITALITY QATAR - SALON CULINAIRE
The Salon Culinaire is Hospitality Qatar’s signature showcase, providing culinary professionals from around the world, with a spot in the limelight to create their masterpieces and compete for top honours in multifarious categories in addition to a top-
tier Masterclass. QCP added as well categories for nutritional and
healthy food including Best Four-Course Vegetarian Lunch Menu.
Salon Culinaire is an annual culinary competition in Doha organized by Qatar Culinary Professionals wherein more than 300 Professional
Chefs compete in different categories to shows up their amazing skills. Their masterpiece/creations are judged by
international/Worldchefs approved judges from different countries.
WORLDCHEFS CONGRESS The WORLDCHEFS Congress & Expo is a biannual event and a
hallmark tradition of Worldchefs; it has been organised in over 34 cities across the world throughout its illustrious 86-year history.
WORLDCHEFS CONGRESS
A WORLDCHEFS Congress attracts between 500 and 1000 delegates from all over the
world. It is a unique opportunity to showcase your country’s cuisine, culture, traditions and
its chefs and to capture the interest of the international culinary community. Hosting a
Worldchefs Congress boosts a member country’s status within the international community, increases awareness of the
country’s cuisine and has the potential for increased tourism in the form of pre- and
post-event tours.
WORLDCHEFS CONGRESS A WORLCHEFS Congress comprises a great educational
programme, competitions, a trade exhibition and numerous culinary events and activities, such as the Country Presidents’
and the Continental Directors Meetings.
The QCP Corporate Roadshow is an annual event, whereinsuppliers in Food and Beverage sector, kitchen equipment's andhospitality operational stuffs with Corporate Partners of QatarCulinary Professionals joined together to promote their products &innovations.

QCP CORPORATE ROADSHOW
Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF) is a multiculturalfestival that celebrates the country’s diverse food, beverage andhospitality offerings. Held over a course of several days duringspring, the Festival invites residents and visitors to enjoy specialculinary experiences in scenic outdoor spaces.
QIFF forms a part of QTA’s strategy to grow and diversify thecountry’s tourism offering, particularly in the area of family andurban entertainment. Thanks to the collaborative efforts ofpartners in both the public and private sector, it has grown sinceits first edition in 2010 to become one of the most-anticipatedevents in Qatar’s growing calendar of annual festivals and events.
In celebration of Qatar International Food Festival, They arefew activities prepared by the Chefs in partnership with QatarCulinary Professionals. Which include the following:
QATAR INTERNATIONAL FOOD FESTIVAL (QIFF)
LIVE COOKING THEATRE
A live cooking theatre with shaded seating for guests. Those visitingthe festival will be able to meet their favourite international chefs andwatch them cook gourmet dishes and regional cuisine.
There’s live cooking demonstrations by International Chefs andChefs from Doha’s luxury hotels. The dishes cooked is available forsample tasting too.
CARVING COMPETITION
Professional Chefs and kitchen artists compete in theCarving Competition (Ice Carving and Fruit & VegetableCarving) hosted by Qatar Culinary Professionals.
CULINARY COMPETITIONS
BIRYANI COMPETITION
QCP organize a competition for the Best Biryani in celebration of Biryani Festival in Doha Qatar with different categories including Nutritional Vegetable Biryani, Chicken Biryani, and Meat Biryani.
Professional Chefs from different hotels compete on the said competition.
2016 Valrhona C3 International
Valrhona recognized as one of the world’s leaders of fine bar and baking chocolate for top chefs and discerning
chocolate lovers. Month of April 2016, VALRHONA announces the winners of the prestigious Chefs
Chocolate Competition (C3) including Chef Yusuke Aoki (QCP Member & Pastry Chef at Ritz Carlton—Doha). He is also qualified for the World Finals - VALRHONA C3 on
October 2016 to be held at New York.
NESTLE MASTER CLASS COMPETITION
Following the success of the first Nestlé DocelloMasterclass in Dubai, this second event in the series offer
pastry chefs in Qatar the opportunity to experience the Nestlé Docello dessert range, and find out how they are able make
unique creation of their own.
1st NATIONAL CULINARY COMPETITION in QATAR
The Qatar Culinary Professionals launched its first National Culinary Competition with more than 40 Chefs from different hotels & restaurant participate in three categories.
Judges includes Chef Daniel Hiltbrunner, Chef Andy Cuthbert & Chef Thomas Gugler.

Chef Anushka Sampath Bags Gold at IKA/Culinary
Olympics 2016!
This year on 22 – 25 October 2016, he travelled to
Frankfurt, Germany to join the IKA/Culinary Olympics 2016.
The IKA (Internationale Kochkunst Ausstellung) / Culinary
Olympics, first competition held in 1900, is the oldest and
most respected competition for professional and elite chefs
around the world hosted in Germany every four years. The
event has a magnitude in scope with more than 25,000
visitors witnessing over 2,000 competing chefs from 59
countries preparing more than 7000 meals.
Our QCP Member, Chef Anushka Sampath from Shangri-
La, participated the open showpiece made of sugar (deco
roma) with his “Survival of the Fittest” and “Heroes Collide”.
He took 2 gold medals for both show pieces and made a
strong representation for Qatar

Qatar Culinary Professionals organize activities for Kids
Edutainment Event which includesKids decorating of healthy
cupcakes & cookies wherein kids do really enjoy eating after they
decorate there cupcakes/cookies.
Professionals Chefs provide the cookies, cupcakes & cream and its
recipe includes healthy ingredients like fruits, vegetable
and fresh milk.
Qatar Culinary Professionals visit and shows supports to AGRITEQ event, in which hundreds of local and international companies from the
agriculture industry participated, welcomes official bodies and other private institutions specialized in the agricultural products and
equipment. This shows as well that Professional Chefs support and usingorganic products which is healthy.
