Speed and performance Versatility/Complexity Accuracy PURPOSE Excellent features, in particular, the repeated accuracy results in turning, predestine this machine tool for production in medium and large series, in the field of sophisticated machining of both metal and plastic work pieces with complicated geometrical shapes. The machine tool is ready to operate in full automatic mode in combination with the work piece continuous feeders and the parts catcher. This method enables you to achieve high production effectiveness in machining such work pieces as bearing rings or different flange or shaft parts for automotive industries. Tool head The machine tool is equipped with the motor- driven axial tool head as a standard. However, it is also possible to equip the machine tool with the hydraulic-arrested tool head with high-rate positioning, which makes possible saving of machining process incidental times to a great extent Main spindle drive The machine tool is ready to operate in full auto- matic mode in combination with the work piece continuous feeders and the work piece take-out device. The speed of 4200 min -1 together with the spindle performance up to 22 kW connected with the optimal torque assures economy not only in fast machining but also in roughing. Hydraulic rest with the thrust rollers automatic lubrication The self-cantering rest with the wide clamping diameter range makes possible machining in the following modes: • support of the work piece free end (work piece front alignment, centre punch mark); • support of the extremely small work pieces. Driven tools The completion of the off-axis machining process makes possible considerable capability expansion of the lathe, which creates new possibilities to reduce the production process period and decrease in costs during machining of shape-complicated work pieces. Stable spindle The spindle is imbedded into the preloaded bearings with the oblique contact to achieve high rigidity and reliability. The highly dimensioned bedding structure makes possible the long-time machining accuracy. Clamping system The high variability in selection of the proper clamping type in two spindle bore diameters enables the user to adapt the machine tool to the technology requirements to achieve efficient machining.
