We are very excited about the coming year and the changes ahead. We both bring to our teaching, different strengths and life experiences and will be working collaboratively to optimise learning opportunities for your children. Optimising Learning Opportunities The building alterations have not yet started, but will be going ahead in the April holidays. In the meantime, we have moved furniture and changed the cloak bays back to learning spaces. We hope to get some bean bags in the next week or so and have already acquired two couches from TradeMe. You will also notice that shelving has been painted to brighten things up and that we have a reading bath! We already have six PCs and three laptops in the hub and five brand new iPads will be added very soon. This is just the begin- ning! We have great plans to bring learning alive for the chil- dren in Pukeko Hub and we are both determined to create a learning environment that the children will love to be in and that develops a passion for learning! Keeping in Touch Pukeko Hub has a blog that will be updated regularly with information about what we are learning. Look out for photos and videos of what’s going on in the Hub. There will be a regular newsletter which will be posted on the blog and also sent home in hard copy. We intend to start a notice board for parents inside the Hub for important information and articles of interest. During Week Two, Pukeko parents will be invited to an information evening. This will be an opportunity to share with you more about the learning programmes we are running and respond to any questions you may have. In addition, once underway, you will have the opportunity to visit the hub and see first-hand what the children are doing and learning. More to come about this in a couple of weeks.

Optimising Learning Opportunities

The building alterations have not yet started, but will be going ahead in the April holidays.

This is just the begin-ning!
