ORGANIZATION• Requirements for the
access: children living in the Municipality of Scandiano, aged between 3 and 5.
• Availability: 168 places, 6 age-based classes (2 classes for the “Younger group”: 3-year-old children; 2 classes for the “Middle group”: 4-year-old children; 2 classes for the “Older goup ”: 5-year-old children)
• Staff: 12 teachers; 5 collaborators.
• Service Calendar: from Sept.15th (approximately) till June 30th.
• Opening days: from Monday to Friday
• Full-time classes: from 8.00 a.m till 4 p.m.
• Supplementary services: earlier access (from 7.30 a.m. only for authorized families); longer stay (from 4 p.m. till 6.20 p.m. only for authorized families)
TYPICAL DAY• 7.30 a.m. – 8 a.m. preschool (for those who have appropriate
certification)• 8 a.m. – 9 a.m. entrance and welcoming • 9 a.m. - 9.30 a.m. roll call and break• 9.30 a.m. – 10 a.m. assembly• 10 a.m. - 11.30 a.m. free and structured teaching activities • 11.30 a.m. - 11.45 a.m. first leave• 11.45 a.m. - 12.30 a.m. lunch• 12.30 a.m. – 1 p.m. second leave• 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. nap • 3 p.m. - 3.30 p.m. snack• 3.30 p.m. – 4 p.m. third leave• 4 p.m. - 6.20 p.m. additional time
