Giving Single Phase Connection > Precautions to be Taken
A rubber mat has to be laid at the foot of the ladder.
Check the metallic part for current leakage.
Maintain the distance between the pole and the ladder in the ratio of 1:4.
Wear full body harness
Giving Single Phase Connection > Precautions to be TakenUse the double line harness to climb the ladder.
Hook the double line harness onto a support at the top of the pole.
Tie the rope at the top end of the ladder around the pole.
• The steps involved in meter installation are:– Checking the physical condition of the pole– Checking the pole with the tester for current leakage, if any– Checking if the distribution box is fixed– Checking the load and condition of the distribution box– Taking care of the place where to fix the meter
• Some of the precautions to be taken while giving single phase connection are:– Ensure rubber mat is laid at the foot of the ladder– Maintain the distance between the pole and the ladder in the ratio of 1:4 – Check the metallic part for current leakage – Wear full body harness– Hook the double line harness onto a support at the top of the pole– Tie the rope at the top end of the ladder around the pole
