Poverty is a major social problem Condition where people's basic need for food, clothing and shelter are not being met. poverty is generally of two type.

It refers to the cut off point in terms of precipitate expenditure incurred by the people to satisfy basic needs. The precipitate expenditure is above it is considered as above poverty line (APL)and the precipitate expenditure is below it is considered as below poverty line (BPL)
