Downstairs

As you enter the front door you are immediately hit with the sense of charm and character. The hall together with the staircase make an excellent first impression, with wood flooring, feature fireplace and large square bay window overlooking the front, with a charming window bench seat and attractive part wood panelled walls. The hall together with the impressive staircase makes an excellent first impression and the further eception rooms that follow certainly do not disappoint either. The drawing room is elegant and it is lovely to see a beautiful formal dining room these days, with space for a large table.

The dining room gives access through to an orangery/sun room which enjoys lovely views over the rear garden and provides a peaceful atmosphere. Weybridge

Weybridge is close to the attractions of London yet surrounded by beautiful Surrey countryside. Castle Road is situated on the Oatlands side of Weybridge and is predominately made up of other similar detached family homes. Always a popular location, the road provides a sense of community and a tranquil environment, but is also gives convenient access via Oatlands Chase down to Walton on Thames station.

Weybridge has a long history of motor racing and aviation, the famous Brooklands racing track at Weybridge was the world’s first purpose built motor racing circuit and portions of its banked track are still visible today. The aerodrome on the site also saw the development of the World War Two Wellington bomber and contributed to the design and manufacture of the supersonic Concorde. Brooklands Museum features a fine collection of racing and sports cars, and aeroplanes including the first production Concorde built in Britain.

Nearby

The restaurants and shops in Oatlands Village are fairly close at hand, as are the more comprehensive shopping facilities provided by The Heart shopping centre in nearby Walton on Thames. Weybridge town centre is within 2 miles and all the chic restaurants, bars and boutiques on the Queens Road are also within about 1 mile. The M25 is with easy reach of Weyrbidge, providing access to central London, the South coast as well as Heathrow (25 mins) and Gatwick (45 mins) airports.

Outside to the front there is a carriage driveway providing parking for several vehicles and to one side of the house there is an attached garage. Getting Here

From our office in Weybridge turn left and proceed down the High Street and continue up Monument Hill to the mini roundabout. Bear left into the Oatlands Drive heading towards Walton on Thames. Continue through the Village passing the Oatlands Park Hotel, continue along and Castle Road can be found on the right hand side. Proceed down Castle Road and at the “T” junction turn left and the property can be found a short way along on the right.
