Benefits of LED’s:

COST – LED lighting is more cost-effective than traditional neon signage, both up front and in the long term. Neon signs require more maintenance and gas refills.

VERSATILITY – LED lights are less than 1/3 the depth or thickness of neon. They can be made into flexible strips, boards and many other configurations allowing animation, multiple colors and color changing effects.

SHIPPING – The significant weight and size reduction of LED signs, as well as the lack of fragile glass tubing leads to reduced packaging material and shipping weight. SAFETY – LEDs generate negligible heat, do not have the breakage potential of glass tubing and do not pose the same shock hazard as traditional neon.

CONSUMPTION – LEDs can save you up to 70% or more in energy costs compared to traditional neon. Glass neon typically uses 15,000 volts while our LED signs typically use only 12 volts.

INSTALLATION – LED signs have multiple advantages in the installation phase as well. They weigh less and their thin profile allows more signs to be carried in each vehicle. They are lighter and easier for your team to handle and install. Since they use less packaging, there is less waste and recycled materials for your team to manage after the install.

Art File RequirementsFormat: Macintosh / PC

Media: CD / DVD / FTP

Software: Illustrator/Photoshop/InDesign CS4 or lower, Freehand (Output devices do not support Quark Xpress files. These files can be

exported as .pdf files or re-saved as .eps files but may increase pre-press time and extra charges may apply.)

Vector art: is preferred for most text and graphics. All text should be converted to paths, curves or outlines, or should include the font files (both

screen and printer Type 1 fonts) used in the art file.

Raster Images: If there are raster images placed in a vector art file, embed the placed image or link the placed images. IMPORTANT: In the

event that editing is needed or if there are color issues within the file that need correction, please include any unflattened Photoshop raster files.

All raster art needs to be 300 dpi and at least 50% in size for large jobs (24” x 36“ or larger). For smaller jobs (24” x 36” or smaller) art needs to be

300 dpi at full size.

Placed images: Make sure artwork or placed images are in CMYK color mode. RGB images have to be converted to CMYK in order to print 4

color process. We cannot guarantee color results of reinterpreted files from RGB to CMYK mode.

Bleeds: .125“ or .25” depending on size of artwork.

Color profiles: Gracol 2006 or US web coated SWOP (embedded color profiles will be preserved)

Proofing: Color proofs are made from the supplied digital file and checked for G7 color accuracy with a densitometer. Proof may vary slightly

from your computer monitor or color printer. The final printed product may also vary slightly from the color proof due to the differences between

printing and proofing methods. Imprint information and location vary by product size.

Normal production time: Illuminated approximately 4-6 weeks after art and credit approval. Metal signs is 3-4 weeks. FOR RUSH SERVICE:

Call for current production schedule and rush charge.

Prices: All prices are USD and FOB 76140 (TX). Products with different copy may not be grouped for combined quantity prince. For quantities

falling between pricing breaks, use smaller quantity pricing. Returned check charge is $25.

Proofs: Presentation paper proof $20.00(z) mailed, $10.00(z) faxed or first proof e-mailed free, plus cost of artwork. Additional e-mailed proofs for

same order $10.00(z). Proofs must be ordered for new orders requiring copyright or trademark licensor approval.

Overruns and under runs: All custom printed orders for more than 20 items are subject to 5% over or under run. Due to manufacturing

production standards there will be overruns and occasionally under runs. Promo Signs Direct will try to minimize such occurrence. We do

however reserve the right to ship and bill/credit your charge card or account up to 5% over or under the quantity ordered on printed items.

Exact run charges: Please add 5% to the cost of your order for exact quantity over 20 custom printed items to be shipped. Applies to metal signs only.

Shipping: See product specs for shipping weights (FOB 76140). Normal shipping will be by least

expensive method unless otherwise directed. Sorry, no COD shipments permitted.

Packaging: See product specs for individual packaging options.

Order issues: Any order discrepancies must be reported within 30 days from receipt.

Drop shipments: Orders shipped at one time to one or more destinations are $5.00(z) per additional destination.

Delayed shipments: If held over sixty days, orders will be billed at price that applies at time of shipment.

Cancellations: Orders are considered firm and cannot be canceled without written authorization

from factory. Any art and production costs incurred to that point will be invoiced accordingly.

Changes to orders: All changes to orders must be requested in writing and will be acknowledged by authorization from the factory. Increases in

orders will be treated as separate orders unless notification is received prior to production of original order.

Trademarks: Distributors along with their clients and customers must obtain proper authorization to use any and all trademarks presented to us

for reproduction. We can assume no liability for any disputes arising out of any unauthorized use of trademarks presented to us for reproduction.
