Classification of our Emergency lighting systems:

MAINTAINED: In the event of mains failure the lamp/s gets automatically switched to integral battery source and continues to be illuminated as the lamp/s is/are also energized during the normal mains supply.

NON MAINTAINED: The integral battery, in the event of mains power failure , will automatically turn on the lamp/s. It will remain inactive during the normal mains supply . So, it is also known as standby.

SUSTAINED: In the event of mains power failure one of the lamps remain illuminated by automatically getting switched to the integral battery source meanwhile at least two or more lamps is energized during normal mains supply.

CENTRALIZED EMERGENCY LIGHTING SYSTEM (CELS): centralized system can be activated in any mains operated equipments. It is advisable where collective emergency lighting has to be energized in the case of mains failure. It is a unit comprising of battery bank and a single power converter, which converts battery voltage to 230v AC. (Also launching addressable CELS)

Solar Street Lights:The development of ultra brightLEDs has made it possible to develop a solar based STREET LIGHTING SYSTEM. The LED is a low voltage device and the solar cell is also a low voltage output device and so there is a perfect match between the two.

Conversion Kit:What are PROLITE Emergency Conversion Modules (PECM) ?PECM have become a synonym for such aesthetic emergency lighting commonly referred as CONVERSION MODULES, it provides instant backup lighting when the normal power fails. These units as the name suggests are used for converting existing luminaries into emergency one. Each unit works in conjunction with the existing ballast to convert new or existing luminaire fittings into emergency equipment with the help of PECM.
