What We do : With the rise of the Sharing Economy and the IoT, there is now a viable opportunity to address the issue of our dwindling natural world resources and innovate accordingly. Using digital technology and sustainable resources that develop a closed loop system, we are looking to trial the world's first reusable food packaging service, starting with a product for retailers such as Starbucks, Costa, Nero and independent cafes. The product is a globally recognised product, commonly used for take away beverages. Cities such as London exhibit a high consumption rate of single use packaging (resources) and with an estimated 60% of the global population living in cities by 2030 (London being Europe's biggest city), this rate of consumption is set to increase dramatically. This implies more waste being generated and more public expenditure to clean and maintain streets. We are looking to start a global shift in this market by introducing an easy to use platform, allowing our customers and end users to access reusable products and return them to designated collection points within participating retailers. We are already working with the Greater London Authority, London Waste And Recycling Board, KPMG, HSBC, Ellen MacArthur Foundation, RSA and Pentagram. We have received considerable press on our innovative products, being covered by Design Week, Core77, Disrupt Innovation Festival, Domus, Dwell, Design Indaba and Ogilvy. Who we are looking for : In the run up to our London launch later this year, it is critical that the business is supported by a robust and efficient operating infrastructure. The Operations Lead will be responsible for creating and managing this infrastructure. The Operations Lead will work closely with the founder (CEO) and will form an integral part of the team. We’re looking for a 2-4 year top-tier professional, who is looking for a more hands-on and fulfilling role. This role is for someone who can take on daily challenges and who is a detail oriented individual. For this reason experience in the following is essential :

● Logistics and supply chain management ● Good knowledge of Customer Services & Trade & Compliance ● Transportation and finance ● Resource management and strategy ● Systems analysis and workflow structuring ● iOS/Android Application and website management

Key tasks include :

● To organise an efficient and effective operating environment within our company, thereby allowing the CEO and other team members to deliver a seamless and scalable product to our partners and clients.

● To work closely with the Main Board to ensure that marketing plans are properly co-ordinated and administered to maximise the potential for revenue growth through both new partners and clients.

● To liaise with all our key partners and suppliers, including but not limited to our outsourced finance department.

● To develop effective working practices and processes to ensure that our product and service achieves agreed high standards.

● To develop effective working practices and processes to record and measure client servicing activities and ensure that we deliver on agreed subscriptions, memberships and sponsorships.

● To analyse servicing data and work with the CEO and finance department to efficiently deploy new partnerships.

● To provide all agreed data and reports to the Board to agreed deadlines to ensure the smooth running of the business.

● To manage entire supply chain of our product and service, liaising with independent tech team accordingly to deliver and expand the business.

Results required :

1. LOGISTICS AND SUPPLY CHAIN OPTIMISATION - To work with manufacturers, suppliers, logistics and partners to deliver a high standard of product and service to clients. To engage with existing clients to manage site specific requirements and optimise the service, developing a suite of options based on efficiency of system flows and resources.

2. NEW BUSINESS PROCESS AND PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT - To ensure that new business activity is pursued in a manner consistent with overall new business strategy. To monitor day to day new business activity, ensure a supply of adequate new business collateral and report on the success or otherwise of different strategies. The Operations Lead will forecast required resources and ensure they are available to support the new business process.

3. ENSURING ALL BUSINESS SYSTEMS ARE FIT FOR PURPOSE - Ensuring that all requirements for service delivery are captured within the design of the business systems used by the Company. When new requirements emerge, working with the tech team to define, brief and manage required changes to ensure optimum performance. Carrying out required testing to ensure systems compliance with business needs. Ensure workarounds are kept to a minimum and make sure that Change Management processes are properly documented and meet business needs.

4. PROVISION OF DATA AND REPORTING - Keep accurate records of day to day and management activity so that the information provided can be used to: ● Gauge performance against targets; ● Provide relevant client and supplier data; ● Provide end user behavioural insights; ● Troubleshoot on any areas of poor performance; ● Accurately predict and cost future activities; ● Collate Board packs and minute management meetings

5. PROCESS IMPROVEMENT - To actively look for ways in which the services could be improved. To define the benefits of making changes and to seek approval to implement Improved efficiency and cost effectiveness.

6. MENTORING AND MANAGEMENT - To provide positive support to colleagues and team members and clear objectives and guidance for direct reports and colleagues within the wider business.
