Women Empowerment refers to increasing and improving the social, economic, political and legal strength of the women, to ensure equal-right to women, and to make them confident enough to claim their rights, such as: to get equal opportunity for education, equal employment opportunity without any gender bias, safe and comfortable working environment.

GCSRA in collaboration with corporate and training institute has also focused on skill development aspect for youth. Authority had identified the training institutes with the expertise in the various trades related to build up the vocational skills of the individuals. Atul Institute of Vocational Excellence located at Dharampur- Valsad has its state of the art training centre offers range of skill development courses.

The course for Industrial Sewing Machine Operator is designed especially for

girls’ candidates by AIVE- Dharampur. The selected course is of about 3 month’s

duration and 50 girls candidates will get trained.

Project cost the training is Rs. 8,65,000/- which includes course fees and residential fees which is funded by your company as CSR spending. The Financial Report is attached for kind reference [Annexure-1]. The work order to conduct the training programme was issued by GCSRA on 10th April-2017.

The first batch of the training programme is started from 4th May, 2017 The first batch of the training programme is started from 4th May, 2017 and at the end of August 2017 both the batch were completed by training institute. Total 50 girl candidates were trained during the training program and all successful candidates got placement in garment manufacturing company.
