4 steps to set up a PMO in Project Online

Sign up with Office 365

To start using Project Online, first you need to set up your Office 365 account. You can do this on the Microsoft Office 365 website.

Sign up with Project Preview Get your credentials via email and start using

Project Online Preview by clicking the following link: https://portal.microsoftonline.com/admin/default.aspx

After your Office 365 account is set up, a Project Web App site is automatically created for you. Click Projects in the blue bar at the top of the site to begin using Project Web App (next slide).

The next step is to give access to the new user to Project Web App. Click Projects to switch to the Web App.

Search for the user to invite him/her. Click Share.

1. Login in with your temporary password.

2. Change your password.

3. Login in again with your new credentials.

4. Set up Office settings and install additional software (next slide)

Use Project Pro for Office 365 Subscription Software download page

Click install to install Project Pro on your desktop. This installation works together with all existing Project installations without running to issues.




Enable additional PPM features Click on Edit Links to Modify the Quick Launch (here: Display Strategy)
