John Dang – Field Systems Engineering and

Technology

John Has over 30 years experience in virtually

every aspect of mobile and transportable satellite

communications as well as Intelsat and other

satcom operator gateway earth station operations

and is OEM certified on multiple components from

antenna systems through routers. He was most

recently employed by Schlumberger as a senior

field applications engineer and VSAT field training

coordinator.

He has played an active role in the adoption of

satcom technology by the global oil & gas industry

since it’s beginning with the Inmarsat constellation.

NERA and Telenor / Marlink .
