    Time required -Students are given 4 weeks to plan and

    prepare all the necessary things that has to be settledregarding their project.

    Group size -For this project, the whole class will be dividedinto 4 groups which consists of 12-13 members each. One

    student is assigned as the LEADER and the remaining as thesupporting members of each designated group.

    FIELD OBSERVATION

    During the field observation, thestudents are providedquestionnaires for them to answerand submit back to the teacherwithin the day of observations. For

    the succeeding days after the fieldobservation, the student are nowto proceed to research works.

    RESEARCH WORKS

    The students has to research on thepossible things that they are to include in

    their groups exhibit. They are to researchinformation through articles, magazines,books, and online references. They canresearch on life spans, classification of theanimals, food webs, food chain, life cycle,and other information that they plan toinclude in their work.

    Next task is to, create a draft ofwhat is to be produced on theexhibit which is to be submittedto the teacher. The materials tobe used will depend on thegroups decision and concept onhow to present their work.

    REAL WORLD CONNECTION

    With this project, the students has the chance to have anactual encounter with farm animals or domestic animals.With that experience, the students would be able to

    realize how important these animals to our ecosystemand to human living.

    They will also have an idea on how these animals aretreated, for example how to feed them, wash them andalso how to take good care of these animals. Thereforethe knowledge and skills that they acquired anddeveloped, they can apply it in real life or in their dailyliving

    The students are given enough timeto create and polish their work.

    One month is given for them toconceptualize the exhibit that theywish to present on the presentationdate.

    STUDENT DECISION MAKING

    With the decision making, each groupare to independently decide what

    output to produce, what informationthey think are relevant to the exhibit,materials to be used. The students candecide when to start the project, howfast they progress will be, etc. As long asthey finish the exhibit on the givendeadline of presentation.

    COLLABORATION

    The team are to work together from start untilthe end of the project. Each member has to

    contribute to the success of the exhibit. Theleader has to assign tasks to his/her members inorder for them to progress in their works. Theymust have follow-up report with the teacher sothat they are somehow guided. In addition, thestudents will be able to experience how to dealwith their diverse co-members within the groupthey belong to.

    ASSESSMENT

    The teacher will check the studentswork from time to time so that thegroup can consult their ideas andconcerns regarding their work. Withthat, several feedbacks are given by

    the teacher for the students toimprove their output.

    MULTIMEDIA

    Each group has to document their projects progress. Theyare to submit a documentation after the day of thepresentation of projects. They must document the field

    observation, the preparation of exhibit, the actualpresentation of the exhibit (pictures, data, etc.)

    In addition, they must also produce at least 5-7 minutesvideo of the exhibit. They can present short videos thatare relevant to their work for the judges to understandwhat they are trying to imply. The students can makeuse of the different applications to present the video (suchas Movie Maker, iMovie, Adobe etc...)

    Thank you
