Volcano Youth Company is building a community of daring young people who will become the next generation of performance innovators.

Begin the reinvention of opera by working with a composer and two young opera singers to explore writing for operatic voice. This workshop will focus on what you want to hear and how you want to make it. The amazing result will be performed on Friday evening.

The first RawFfest Film Council presents short films by young people. Carefully selected films show new and emerging talent from Wales. (This event is suitable for musicians, agencies and organisations that need film makers to help create new material.)

Is there something you are passionate about and want to get off your chest? For 5 minutes the microphone is yours. Only limits: our vision is for an inclusive festival. We’ll pull the plug on anything that denigrates others (e.g. is racist or sexist) or uses offensive language. We kick off with "Young, transgender and Welsh."

Art is important within today's society as it challenges our beliefs and makes us question ourselves and the world around us. PUSH will exhibit the work of emerging artists in Wales who are pushing the boundaries and expressing how powerful art can be.

"I don't design clothes. I design dreams," said Ralph Lauren. This fashion show demonstrates what young people are dreaming about now. It will include garments made during the festival.
