2 Autumn Members Meeting 2014 | Port Equipment Manufacturers Association

WELCOME

We are delighted to announce details of PEMA’s Autumn Members

Meeting for 2014, taking place 30 September – 2 October at

LeMeridien Hotel & Conference Centre in Dubai.

Following our first ever meeting in Asia last year, this will be the first

time that PEMA has staged a meeting in the Middle East and as such

represents another big step in fulfilling our Association’s international

remit. We hope that the meeting will be an excellent chance to

connect with our member company representatives based in Dubai,

UAE and the wider Gulf, and look forward to welcoming guests from

the Middle East port and terminal community, a region that is home to some of the world’s largest and

most technologically advanced container handling operations.

As traditional equipment manufacturing and high-tech innovation increasingly converge to help port

and terminal operators improve their operational efficiency, PEMA continues to provide a unique forum

for peer-to-peer dialogue and communication, as well as to engage with our customers and other

key stakeholders. As usual, our Autumn meeting will provide plenty of opportunities for us to share

experiences, challenges and goals, and to forge and strengthen the personal friendships that underpin

our industry. I invite you all to book your place as soon as possible.

On behalf of the PEMA Board, we look forward to welcoming you to Dubai.

Sincerely

Ottonel PopescoPresident, PEMA
