  • The Baccahe

A Greek Tragedy that has been given a modern twist

by the writers from Kneehigh Theatre Company.

The Bacchae, set in Leeds tells the story of a battle between the wild and the tame. The elation of breaking the rules and the terrible price to pay. It implicates us all and asks the question what would you do?

We wouldnt do that, we hear you say. But were all the same at the end of the

    day

  • The Wooden Frock

The Wooden Frock is adapted from the Cinderella

family of stories. Dark, dangerous and delightful, Kneehigh Theatre brings

this intoxicating folk story to vivid life. Music hall meets Zen in this tale of mystery and

    revelation, innocence and experience.

The Wooden Frock is a tale of magic, passion and anarchy. Fresh, moving and

fizzing with music, film and puppetry, witness the journey from winter

    to spring, dark to light.
